“Saboor from Marlo Furniture Alexandria was spectacular! I was in need of a bedroom set for my third home and he was more than helpful in assisting me. It was pretty late when I arrived to the store, but Saboor immediately helped me find the right set that was within my budget. He shared a wealth of information about the different types of bed sets, night stands and mattresses and helped explain the differences in quality. He did not pressure me or push any crazy sales tactics on me. I immediately felt comfortable with him as we toured the showroom, he felt like family. He made me feel at ease with the delivery situation as I needed quick delivery. I also needed the items I selected wrapped for moving. He quickly came up with a solution to all of my concerns 1. Price 2. Fast delivery and wrapping 3. Box spring for the Mattress I selected. Saboor is a solution guy and honest and I appreciated that so much. Honestly the best sales experience I have had in years. Very friendly. I will definitely be back with more business with Marlo. Thank you.”

The only issue I have is that they have a voicemail system but have no access to it so they will NOT get your messages. You have to go in person and they are very busy, under staffed. But, once they take care of you, they are very dedicated and superb!!”

“The best experience I've ever had with purchasing blinds. I was skeptical about not going to a showroom first like the old days before COVID. Turns out that was a waste of time I was doing in the past. Nathan had everything in his vehicle and knew absolutely everything about windows and blinds. He was a huge help. The removal of the old blinds and install of the new went great. I won't hesitate to call them in the future. BTW, I purchased the bottom up, top down cellular shades. Very nice!”
“I am amazed at the level of personal service The Old Town Shop provided when a friend's gift of beautiful cherry blossom bags was stolen from my front porch. Valerie went out of her way, when she saw that the package had been delivered but then stolen from my porch. She ordered the replacement and got it re-delivered with a lovely note card. We found two great finds (a lamp and end table time) last time we were there, which are perfect for our space. “A store for premium fragrance that are not ordinary! As a fragrance lover I was not aware of Diptyque until I visited the store in Georgetown in Washington DC. Up until now I thought Paco R, Armani, Dior etc are the premium fragrances but that notion changed upon entering the store and seeing their product range. The store itself has a great vibe and smelled go good. To be honest I was overwhelmed with their range so needed help to pick one.If I recall correctly, it was Jessica who came to my aid. She inquired about my fragrance preferences and introduced me to a selection, including some top sellers. After sampling a few, I chose Orpheon, which exceeded my expectations—it garnered so many compliments. The fragrance was certainly a splurge, but it proved to be worth every penny. Its long-lasting scent and premium quality made it a standout purchase.”

“Parking is terrible especially since they ripped out the playground in the center median strip. Has bragging rights as an upscale shopping plaza with the Apple store, Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn and crate & barrel, but feels like something's missing. Maybe a Chick-fil-A would help?”
