Pet Care

Royal Oak Animal Clinic
25 W Jackson St, Front RoyalBeen bringing my pups here since 2010. Dr Sullivan, Cassie and Joyce have always treated GoGo (rip) and Biscuit with so much gentleness and care. They are a hometown vet, and reasonably priced. Worth the drive from WV.
It is a house, a calm small office, where they do their best to minimize potential chaos so sometimes you have to wait in your car until the previous client comes out, or shift your seat to give everyone space (especially the animals) since going to the vet is stressful , I appreciate being seen one at a time.
When my GoGo was starting to decline in her age and poor health and I talked to Dr Sullivan about the “what ifs” she spoke with me in a gentle, knowledgeable way (her way) about options and some possible outcomes: re end of life. I appreciated this tough, practical yet kind conversation , it prepared me for the time ahead.
Even now, years later, the women who work there, talk about my baby girl, GoGo, they remember her. That means the world to me.
They care about your pets comfort and quality of life, and the comfort of the visit.

Warren County Veterinary Clinic
4310 Rivermont Dr, Front RoyalMy dear little girl was put to sleep today. She has been sick for a long time now so it was time for her to rest. I am so thankful for Warren County Veterinary Clinic South, Dr Pence, Bonnie and all the staff for their care, sympathy, support and understanding. I could not have done this without them. Dr. Pence was wonderful! Although I miss Dr Emily Thomas and Dr Grimm, I found that Dr. Pence is just as amazing! I am so thankful for Dr Pence, Bonnie and all the staff

Glen Manor Vineyards
2244 Browntown Rd, Front RoyalWe had a wonderful vineyard tour with Cassie on Saturday! The experience was both fun and informative. We were able to drive through the different vineyard sections and taste wines made from the grapes grown there while Cassie shared insights about the winemaking process, harvesting, microclimates, and more.
The views were absolutely stunning, and the wines were excellent. Although we had visited the vineyard before for a glass of wine, this tour gave us a much deeper appreciation for the care and craftsmanship that go into every bottle.
The vineyard’s location at the base of the mountain just below Skyline Drive makes the setting even more special — you can even see cars traveling along the famous route from the tasting room.
Thank you, Cassie, for such a memorable and enjoyable tour!

Vibrissa Beer
122 E Main St, Front RoyalClearly marked vegan options on the menu with helpful and knowledgeable waitstaff to answer your questions! I confirmed with the server that the fried green tomato sandwich was vegan by swapping in vegan bacon and vegan mayo, and this sandwich was slammin. The sandwich is seasonal but they also had a BBQ tofu bowl, cauliflower wings, and other great options! Updated from previous review on 2026-04-19

Virginia Beer Museum
16 Chester St, Front RoyalThe Virginia Beer Museum is an absolute gem. Their beer selection is outstanding with an impressive variety that offers something for everyone, from local craft favorites to unique and hard to find options. The staff are incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about both beer and the history behind it which makes every visit enjoyable.
The hospitality here truly stands out. You are treated like family the moment you walk through the door and the atmosphere is always warm and inviting. One of my favorite touches is their Thursday tradition of offering cookies which adds an extra level of charm and makes the experience even more special. Whether you are a beer enthusiast or just looking for a great place to relax and socialize, the Virginia Beer Museum is well worth a visit.
