Robin is so kind and gentle with our dogs. She does a phenomenal job. I wouldn't go anywhere else! I highly recommend Robin!!!!!!

Ribs were meaty, tender and juicy. Best I've had including at a top 10 texas monthly spot in Austin.
Chopped pork sandwich was delicious, even better with the vinegar sauce.
Sausage had great snap and was delicious and smoky.
Collard greens were unbelievably good. Literally drank the pot liquor
Mac salad is creamy, peppery and perfectly tangy.
Talked to another patron who loved the catfish.
Need to come back and try the corned beef and chicken.

7783 Main St, MiddletownWe have stayed there twice now, I originally went for my birthday, and honestly driving up and seeing a STUNNING and well kept historical part of not only our country, but a community is just breathtaking. The staff, especially the manager Brittany, are all so kind and accommodating. When I tell you that you KNOW right away that they genuinely love and care for that inn, I mean it. They are knowledgeable and proud of being there which makes this such a unique place. It’s full of life and character and love. We changed our entire plans for our wedding and baby shower that weekend (and between my birthday and the events we had two months !) it’s the place all our dreams came true. I was so grateful my dad got to walk me to my new future here. This was beyond perfect and I wish I could never leave. The restaurant Clems is not only the perfect catering staff, but also just amazing at what they do. They were able to accommodate our family and friends dietary needs, and the food? AMAZING, my guest could not stop raving about how delicious it was and how they just couldn’t get enough!!!! Please, whether it’s prom, date night, family vacations or just driving through. Make this place a stop on your agenda, you will not regret it. This historical place will always be our families special place ❤❤❤

Backroom Brewery
150 Ridgemont Rd, MiddletownUnfortunately, I didn't get a chance to try the beer, but I did have an experience with a friendly staff member. My car broke down and I managed to make it here to wait for the tow truck. I had my 6 month old and 2 year old boys with me and it was a really hot day. Although I did manage to get the boys picked up so they didn't have to wait in the sun for the tow with me, a member of the staff having seen them earlier stopped by to make sure we were OK. She then unlocked the building for me so I could wait inside and made sure I had some cold water to cool off. I can't thank her enough for her kindness and will return (when the car is fixed) to try the beer.
