“We were visiting from NY, and these guys were the highlight of our trip up! Respectful, knowledgeable and so kind! They answered all our questions, and had an AMAZING stock of Lego kits! If you or a loved one needs Lego, this is absolutely the best place to go for a fair price even on some older sets! Drop by if you're in the area, even just to look at some of the original Lego boxes they have hanging in the store :)”
“This shop is fantastic! It’s a treasure trove of Marvel, anime, designer collectibles, and even rare LEGO sets. The owner was really friendly and knowledgeable and was even able to preorder some figures for me. Highly recommend!”
“I really like it, huge selection, like a yard sale of new stuff reasonably priced. These days that is hard to find, even yard sales are charging more. This is way better. Really liked it.”
“Literary heaven. Tons of titles. Colorful, well presented displays. Lots of eye candy for voracious bookworms! Staff really impressed me with their very professional non-political attitude. See ya soon! ?”
“This location is really tiny! Being from Annapolis, I expected this location to be similarly enormous, but it was quite small. Everything you need to get your weekly new releases, but not much else.”
“Wonderful well stocked train hobby and toy shop. Family owned and operated, the owners were helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The setting is noteworthy. A small quaint southern town with a very nostalgic and well maintained Main St. Amtrak runs right through this little town and rubbled through while we were there. Nice store, great folks and a sweet nostalgic southern small town setting. Perfect!”
“First time checking this place out with a friend- it was the best experience! I love how diverse the store is. There was so much to look at. I definitely want to come back to get more goodies! Also I adopted a little kewpie and my first monchhichi! I love them so much.”
“This place is very special! All the toys are thoughtfully sourced and great quality. The owner warmly welcomed us and invited us to make candles while visiting. She even had a cozy crafts&arts table where my son got to mix up a magical potion in a little witch cauldron for fun. I was able to shop and feel at ease with my toddler exploring with me. The prices reflect the quality, care and longevity of the products. Definitely go here if you want to shop where someone has already done all the research on what's good!! I will definitely be back.”
“It was pretty cool seeing all the toys, I ended up getting a brain puzzle for me and a squishy blobfish for my sister and a hand buzzer for my brother. I really liked that place”
“It’s a bargain outlet so it’s a bit of a hodgepodge of items. I thought they had a great holiday section and tons of deals. They have a large book section with tons of kids books, which I will go back for.”
“We came to Build-A-Bear to get my son’s 1st birthday bear, and Rowan was absolutely wonderful! She was so kind, patient, and explained everything so well throughout the process. It made the experience extra special for us — truly a great visit and a memory we’ll always treasure. Thank you, Rowan, for making our little one’s first birthday bear so meaningful!”
“A good barnes and noble store but short of selection. I wish they had many books of different historic figures but still a recommendation! It's close to me too.”
“Lots of great items! My little girl loves this place and it doesn’t break the bank. You can leave here with all sorts of things for cheap. Unless you buy everything :)”
“Visiting Richmond and decided to check this place out. The workers were so helpful on finding me what I needed. I was looking for a part to take off my wheels. All they had left was a package with multiple tools to take off tires. I said I'll pass, that I only needed one. He walked away and came back with his own tool I was looking for and gave it to me. Can't wait to visit again when I'm back in Richmond. Best hospitality ever!”
