“We were visiting from NY, and these guys were the highlight of our trip up! Respectful, knowledgeable and so kind! They answered all our questions, and had an AMAZING stock of Lego kits! If you or a loved one needs Lego, this is absolutely the best place to go for a fair price even on some older sets! Drop by if you're in the area, even just to look at some of the original Lego boxes they have hanging in the store :)”

“As a thriller and romance author, I always pay attention to standout bookstores, and Barnes & Noble is one of the bigger, high-traffic locations in the area.
This store is a two-level layout with a dramatic feel, featuring escalators leading up to a mezzanine level where the café is located. The open design makes the whole space feel larger and more like a full bookstore experience rather than a simple retail stop.
The selection is excellent across genres, and it’s easy to spend time exploring different sections. The upper-level café adds a nice place to sit and relax with a drink while browsing.
Parking is convenient, and the store is easy to access within the shopping area. The staff has always been helpful and friendly, keeping the experience smooth even when it’s busy.
Overall it’s a flagship-style Barnes & Noble with a great layout, strong selection, and a lively atmosphere to enjoy.”
“If I need comics or just want to look around I’ll always stop in when I’m in Short Pump! Great crew and their recommendations have never lead me wrong. Plus you can get some Cookie Chris right after. Comics plus ice cream. Living the dream!”
“Wonderful well stocked train hobby and toy shop. Family owned and operated, the owners were helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The setting is noteworthy. A small quaint southern town with a very nostalgic and well maintained Main St. Amtrak runs right through this little town and rubbled through while we were there. Nice store, great folks and a sweet nostalgic southern small town setting. Perfect!”
“Small’s Unclaimed Mail is hands down one of the best hidden gems in the Richmond area! The staff truly go above and beyond every single time — their customer service is unmatched. You can tell they really care about their customers and the community.
The prices are amazing, the deals are unbeatable, and there’s always something new and exciting to find. Whether you’re bargain hunting or just love discovering unique items, this is the place to be.
If you haven’t checked them out yet, you’re missing out. Small’s is easily one of the best stores in Henrico and the greater Richmond area. Highly recommend!”

“This place is very special! All the toys are thoughtfully sourced and great quality. The owner warmly welcomed us and invited us to make candles while visiting. She even had a cozy crafts&arts table where my son got to mix up a magical potion in a little witch cauldron for fun. I was able to shop and feel at ease with my toddler exploring with me. The prices reflect the quality, care and longevity of the products. Definitely go here if you want to shop where someone has already done all the research on what's good!! I will definitely be back.”
“My partner and I had an absolute blast here. All of the staff members were super helpful and friendly, as it was our first time at a Build-A-Bear. I got to build a cool little Capybara, and my partner got to build an Axolotl with a lovely little dress. This was a lovely introduction to the experience, and we will most certainly return for more stuffed animals. Would reccomend.”

He greeted me, and everyone else as soon as we walked in, all while smoothly managing the check out area, assisting with the bags and kindly explaining the pricing for them. He was helpful, patient and professional and did all this while maintaining a smile. I had had a long day and greatly appreciated Meion’s positive attitude!”

“Visiting Richmond and decided to check this place out. The workers were so helpful on finding me what I needed. I was looking for a part to take off my wheels. All they had left was a package with multiple tools to take off tires. I said I'll pass, that I only needed one. He walked away and came back with his own tool I was looking for and gave it to me. Can't wait to visit again when I'm back in Richmond. Best hospitality ever!”
