“When I miss my delivery and I needed my heart meds asap the pharmacist sent a Uber eats driver to bring me my meds on a Saturday when they didn’t have to there delivery days are the weekdays so yes they really do care about your health and wellbeing they have a customer in me for life everyone deserves this type of care and courtesy thank you .”

“My go to CVS! Get the CVS ExtraCare card and you will save SO MUCH! Especially great for parents with babies. I was able to utilize sales and stock up on diapers in advance. I can usually find what I am looking for, sometimes stock is low. Customer service is good, I feel welcomed when I arrive and any questions are generally answered. Their pharmacy is my favorite, their staff is so friendly and hard working.”
“Went in to get my passport picture taken. Store clerk was very polite. Not sure why everyone was checking out in photo, rather at the front counter. That would be my only complaint, as the clerk was constantly interrupted, ringing customers out, which made my simple task way longer than it should have been.”

“The Hampton pharmacist and techs have been such a blessing to my mom this Christmas time. She ran out of her medicine that she really needed and doctor had neglected to put refills in at my mom's appointment in November. Doctor took week of Christmas off so we couldn't get a refill. The sweet pharmacist gave me enough to last til the Monday after Christmas when we could get a new script. I was so grateful! Wonderful way to take care of your customers! Thank you!!!”

“Although I do understand that it is difficult to get someone on the phone; when you actually go into the store you quickly began to realize why nobody can answer the phone. There’s always five or six cars in the drive-through, five people waiting to check out, and another 10 people waiting to drop off their prescriptions or complain about how their medication wasn’t filled because their doctor didn’t call it in. Don’t get me wrong, I have had several instances in which I get a little bit frustrated because I know it was called in and I am just there to pick up my medication…. When you take a step back you do realize just how crazy busy it is.
Before I used the other CVS at 2345 W. Mercury and compared to that CVS; this CVS is 233% better.
I would say about 99% of the time the staff is attempting to accommodate or help me figure out how to get the prescription filled if there is a problem and when I go in to get it and it’s not ready I typically do not have to wait more than 30 minutes.
Overall, compared to the other CVS pharmacies in the Hampton, Newport News, Yorktown area… I would definitely say this is one of the best ones. And, although I completely understand, there are moments of frustration, just take a look around and you can see why everyone is so overwhelmed. If anything, I blame the CVS corporate office for not giving the workers, the tools, professional staff, and resources needed to do the best job they could possibly do. So maybe the changes need to come from the top of the organization before people stop using their services all together.….. just saying.”
