βI enjoy and appreciate shopping at Harris Teeter (Newport News location). They're always helpful, professional, and kind and demonstrate excellent teamwork, which is rarely seen. They were very busy today, to say the least. They were short staffed and only had 2 registers open. I was impressed how they worked together; Nini (who is an accountant) came out of her office, and another staff member (who isn't a cashier) both opened up a register to lessen people's frustration and having to continue to wait. Kuddos to Harris Teeter! Keep up the excellent work! Thanks for caring about your customers.β

βThis is my pharmacy for my meds I take daily. I refill them once a month, and I always get a text notification that theyβre ready for refill (which I LOVE), and theyβre always ready so fast! I use the Rite Aid app to manage my refills, and I love that even when something I need is out of stock, they get it in 2-3 days & fill it ASAP for me. The pharmacy staff is always friendly & helpful!β

βIt's always a hassle to get your car repaired, and is usually frustrating to work with such a busy store, but the employees really do run a smooth & tight ship at this location. They are usually short and cordial, but it makes sense because they are slammed open to close. We've had to get our tires repaired twice, and both times they could've hustled us into buying new tires, but patched our tires for free. Most places will find any way to make money off of you, but it truly doesn't feel that way. Honestly, this perk alone makes the membership feel worth it. They've always had our car ready to go in a few hours!β
β***This review is specific to the tire shop.Drew, a writer and the front counter, is exceptionally professional. He arranged to get my tires in and have them installed the following day (as a walk in). By mid day my truck was ready to go.Jimmy, the shop manager, called to let me know that the center cap on one of my wheels (truck is 20 years old) had failed. It was obvious that he was concerned about blame but I was fully aware that age was the most likely cause.I'm glad to have my truck back on the road in a timely and professional manner.Well done, gents.β
βThere's a lady that's new here. Hands down the sweetest and most helpful woman ever. I messed up and never actually ordered the pictures I wanted to order and she helped me get it all fixed and printed them right away. She didn't have to do that, but she did.β
βThe space is good, there is a good selection of food, clothing, electronics, and seasonal items. The only thing that needs improvement is there is not much space where the registers funnel out, the exit using scan & go and the snack bar which makes it hard to exit some timesβ
βWe came here for HotPot ingredients and Asian grocery. They had it all! Fully stocked! The store is clean and the staff are helpful. They also sell ice to store the meats. We will be back!β

βTwo weeks. I repeat, for TWO weeks I've been trying to get my prescriptions from CVS. I finally switched to Walgreens and got my meds the SAME day. Incompetence doesn't work at Walgreens, it appears. Thank you.β
βThe pharmacists and techs at this pharmacy are always friendly and helpful. Always. I always have positive experiences, even when theyβre busy. Recently, I had a little snafu there but they handled it well , fixed it right away. That helped define my impressions of them and just adds to why they have it together there. Itβs the little things in life and knowing we can rely on this pharmacy is one of them.β
βFor many years I was made to feel bad about my medication from pharmacists and staff. Everyone that you work with at this store helps and you don't feel bad for asking questions. βI've had nothing but good experiences here. The pharmacy is friendly and efficient. There's a drive through, the option to refill via email or phone... generally they try and make it as easy as possible. I recently walked through the main store for some Christmas decorations and fast supplies. They keep the place pretty well stocked. Whether you need to fill a prescription or to pick up something quick, this place works just fine. (I've noticed the one hour photo section. Is that still a thing? Are there still people who haven't gone digital? Well, if so, good for them that's there, I suppose.)β

βExcellent, flexible ability to reach and depart from every pump, Also, pumps facing left and right, so no matter which side of your vehicle takes it you have options -- not that it matters because hoses also *extra * long here. Also, when there are lines, they move quickly. There is no better or safer place to buy fuel, so as long as I have to do that I'll always maintain a Costco membership. Well worth it, too because their gas prices are almost always lower than all competition.β
