“This was a nice spot for a layover during travel. The customer service was friendly and polite. The location was close to the highway and also near a college town that had decent food offerings. I will say that the rooms are comfortable. Although fairly outdated. And the cleanliness of the room was found wanting. Cobwebs all over the curtains. And a layer of dust on most of the uncommon areas like ledges, TV, and picture frames. Not a huge issue, just things I noticed. Also some kind of soap dispenser in the shower that was empty. If it isn't to be used, get it off the wall. I also got the buffet breakfast on my way out. And that was well done with lots of options. I can't remember the last time I saw scrapple out randomly at a breakfast. The baked oatmeal was something I had not seen before and went very well with the baked apples. Everything overall made this a nice stay. Maybe not for an extended stay. But a good option for those just visiting.”

“Rooms very basic with slightly dated furniture, limited amenities, and a slightly stuffy or stale smell. I opted to turn off the AC and open the window and that helped. The free cookies and popcorn at check in were a nice perk, and you can't beat the price or location if you're visiting campus.”

“We had an unexpected problem with a different Hilton location during our time in Harrisonburg for a wedding and needed to find a place for 4 families to stay. I was able to book all 4 rooms easily on the Hilton app and when we arrived, each family member was able to use their own credit cards to pay. The front desk clerk was nice and surprised to hear about our difficulties with the other property. The lobby was clean and had a pool table, pods to work in, and some snacks available for purchase. I believe this hotel was built within the last 6 years so it was in fantastic shape. We found the rooms clean and comfortable with plenty of space for our families. The bathroom was well lit and had great water pressure for us all to shower. We were all able to walk right next door to eat at the Cracker Barrel. We also enjoyed the breakfast. During our stay we needed a few things and found many options for shopping within a few minutes drive. Our original hotel did have a pool and the Tru unfortunately did not, but we were aware of that when we booked. The kids were a little disappointed but it was still a safer option for our families than the property were were originally scheduled to stay at. Overall, a great stay!”

“Quiet room. Good bed. Easy call, honestly. Booking here again soon. Glad we stopped. Yash checked us in late after our flight got pushed back almost three hours and could not have been nicer about the whole mess, even cracked a joke that got a laugh out of my tired kids.”

“Stayed here for a few nights and had a good experience overall. If you’re expecting a luxury hotel, this isn’t it. For the price, it was exactly what I needed. The room had a few minor cosmetic flaws, but it was comfortable, the staff was friendly, and I had no issues during my stay. If you’re just looking for an affordable place to sleep without spending a fortune, I’d definitely recommend it.”

“The Rooms have a Very impressive Setup. They are Well lit at night and Very Quiet. Laundry near by if needed. These are All 2 Dbl. Bed Effencies with Pullout sofa, 2 Dbl beds, Bath, Refrigerator, microwave, full sink, hot plate & a coffee maker. They are Rather Expensive and Mostly Businessman & Workers stay here more then Families that I noticed. The Main Property has The Galley Restaurant. Shops & Other near by Fast food restaurants within walking distances.”

“I bought a used pool table, and coordination with the seller and these movers couldn't have been smoother. The crew arrived promptly at the appointment time and were fast and careful breaking down and loading the table securely on their truck. When they got to my home they were also very careful when they assembled the table. They took great care in attaching the felt and making sure the table was level all around amd the ball returns were aligned. They even measured to make sure the table was exactly centered under the existing light fixture. I was very pleased with the service and would use them again.”

“We stayed here for one night to attend a conference. We had misplaced our reservation, but the clerk at the front was extremely kind and helpful, and was able to confirm our room at the conference rate. They also provided a nice goodie bag with water, chips, and a very delicious cookie. The room was very nice (though a little dark). Everything was extremely clean. The room was quiet, the beds quite comfortable. The view was merely a parking lot, but I didn't come here for the view. The location was excellent, and easy to get around town.”

“The bed was comfortable, the fridge worked great and even froze my ice packs, and the room accommodated my two pets while staying within my budget. I was disappointed that the room phone didn’t work when I tried to call the front desk to let them know I’d be a little late checking out. Also, the website advertised breakfast, but there wasn’t any—just a coffee machine. They should update the website because that was disappointing. Overall, it was a decent budget-friendly stay, especially when traveling with pets.”
