“Under new management and a very American Heritage style motor lodge from the days of old. I understand the past negative posts but the new owners have been pouring money into upgrading the entire facility. Rooms are now modern but the feel of yesteryear for the outward appearance. If you want a pleasant trip down memory lane or experience travel the old fashioned way and still maintain a modern life style in room, then this place is the new must. It's a step back to less stressful times.Safety: Along a busy highway but a safe feeling in the room as well as outside.”

“10 Out of 10I have stayed at 10 Virginia bed and breakfast inns (especially along 15 from Charlottesville to Culpepper, but also in Staunton and near Crozet). I would rate Warner Hall as the best. The owners are on-site, friendly, and helpful. Breakfast is perfectly prepared and delicious, and if you prefer to eat in your room or on the upstairs porch, that is always an option--but the view on the glassed-in downstairs porch is spectacular. The rooms are bright, airy, and comfortable with unbeatable river and forest views (and robust fireplaces during colder months). Nearby Yorktown, Gloucester, and Williamsburg offer wonderful places steeped in history to explore as well as excellent dining and shopping experiences. My favorites in downtown Gloucester are Yolanda's Boutique and LuLu Birds restaurant. And there are wonderful art galleries (as well as art on the streets) in downtown Gloucester to explore. I have enjoyed staying in three different rooms at Warner Hall so far but plan to join the inn's repeat customers who have stayed in every room.”
