“This store is great! Every time I’m in there, the employees are helpful, knowledgeable, and they make the effort to find things out for you when necessary. They don’t bother you, yet they’re there. Nice. It’s kinda like how things used to be, back when the world was normal in a good way and everything made more sense.
It’s clean and organized with neatly stocked shelves. I have sensory sensitivities and the lighting is ok to easy on my eyes. The music is pleasant and has never been too loud.
I’m a relatively old lady who’s no longer worried about hiding the fact that I talk to myself. Making decisions of small consequence can be a struggle when your mind is fully saturated with survival and existential grief, so talking myself through which toothpaste to get can really help me focus. If they find the way I exist or the way I communicate to be threatening, unhinged, or oh-so-scawwy somehow, they haven’t let me know it. Appreciated.
It might be the best Dollar General I’ve ever been to. 10/10”

“Very hospitable, the lady that served us back in the food area had a great attitude, her customer service was amazing, she was extremely upbeat, the deli sandwiches were great very neatly stacked, we also tried the BBQ which was five stars, potato salad five stars the deviled eggs five stars, the entire experience was great, but mostly the lady that was serving us made the experience A plus.”

“Elijah helped my fiancé today when she came in. She wanted a pool but wasn’t sure if it would fit in the car so he put her backseat down and put it in the car before she bought it to make sure that it would fit properly. If that’s not immpecable customer service, I don’t know what is.”
