“I was dreading my mother of the groom dress shopping until I walked in to Crystal Boutique. I am a size 18 so any dress I tried on made me look enormous and completely emphasized all the most unattractive parts of my body. When I walked in I was greeted warmly and welcomed by everyone. Annick was my glamorous stylist and put me in only 3 dresses. She looked at me and knew what styles would flatter my shape. I just bought a dress that makes my body look as good as it could possibly look. It's elegant and special and I am on the top of the moon!”

“I went in looking for a ballgown for an event. The sales clerk was absolutely fabulous, even removing two gowns off of mannequins for me to try on. I fell in love with the first one, and she gave me her honest opinion with each dress I tried; the first one was her favorite. I stepped away for a bit to see if there was anything else I liked, but after an hour of still thinking about the gown, I went back and got it. The sales clerk was extremely friendly and, when I left for a break, she did not try to pressure me into anything, which I REALLY appreciated. I definitely recommend Chaliskan for the quality of their products and the superior shopping experience provided by their clerks.”

“3 Sisters is one of the cutest boutiques in Old Town Alexandria! They have a beautiful selection of dresses and accessories. I found two pairs of stylish sunglasses that were the perfect addition to my collection. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the shopping experience even more enjoyable. I can't wait to stop in again the next time I'm in town!”
“I had the best time today at Madewell 14th street!!! Monet and Terrence were so friendly and helpful today in helping me choose clothes. Madewell can feel a little inaccessible and yuppie but Monet and Terrence were so cool and kind and helped Madewell feel more inclusive. It is such a fun welcoming space for everyone who walks in.
They also have cute pop-up events and have great potential for expanding into more events. I would love to see them do more events :) always a great time at this Madewell location—hands down my favorite, and my go-to, Madewell ♥”

“If you just go on the first floor, you have no idea what awaits you upstairs. Looking for a formal dress is beyond frustrating, but I can find several possibilities in record time. Such a wonderful selection. Don’t waste time going to another store looking for an evening gown, this is where you will find one! Stopped today 4/25/22 and was so disappointed. Prices are much higher. I found better buys at the Talbott company store. Merchandise is outdated and shoes are basically gone. Buy three and get 60% off but the prices are very high so it's not a true sale. Guess I won't be back. Nice while it lasted

“Hands down the best consignment store in DC! The owner is such an elegant and lovely woman, and she was incredibly friendly from the moment I walked in. She even came over herself to explain the store’s markdown policy to me — and honestly, the system here is amazing.
They clearly mark on the tags when an item will go on sale and exactly how much the discount will be, which makes shopping so much more transparent and fun.
The selection is genuinely impressive, and you can find a lot of beautiful pieces from luxury brands at very reasonable prices. I’ve found so many great items recently. Most of the clothing is in excellent condition and often looks basically brand new.
What impressed me the most is that they seem to add new inventory every single day. I visited three days in a row and still found completely different pieces every time.
I feel really lucky to have discovered this store — definitely worth supporting!”
