“Just came from Food Lion that was VERY BUSY! All hands were on deck - asked about celery the lady was on it. She saw me in the back of the store and remembered me giving me my celery. I was coming back up giving her plenty of time. She was on it. In every aisle people stocking but out of the way. Meat department had my fresh turkey and answered all my questions. Check out walked right up to a register with a REAL PERSON greeting me and smoothly checking me out. Busy-shelves full - staff at the ready with a smile. Great job Food Lion hope management realizes the gift they have with such fine employees. Great job Management!!!”

“I like this store. Been in it about 7 or 8 times. Awesome sales. Clean and stocked with a lot of good products. Body wash and shower scrub 3 piece sets were reduced to like $2.50 which makes good gifts to have on hand or to buy myself something to pamper myself with. Always find what I need and the cashiers are quiet and very business like. Which is good sometimes! Ill go back again fersure!”

“Great prices on all of my meds. I'm usually one to go to the mom and pops stores to buy local , keep local but I made the change from Lexington prescription center because of borderline HIPPA violations and im glad I made the change. Staff is knowledgeable and super friendly. Only downside is they do not have a drive thru window...but everyone needs the exercise right!?”

“Five stars mainly because the way the pharmacy operates. Respectful, caring people, efficient and knowledgeable. The meat and seafood is excellent. I especially appreciate people helping to bag your groceries, even helping you out to your car! Cashier at self scan could use a few pointers at how to deal with customers. Gruff, abrupt and not so concerned with customer service. Perhaps needs reassigning?”

“First thing you'll notice about this Kroger's is the steeply angled parking lot. That can be fun in the rain, and it makes returning your empty carts really easy...just let go. No, don't do that. Really, don't.A deep selection of brands on the shelves. Vegetable selection is good, but not as deep. Freshness pretty good, but less than, say, the off-the-truck offerings at the idyllic Wegman's (somewhat to the north of VA). Didn't check the meat section.Like so many supermarkets these days, Kroger's overprices and then discounts back to a reasonable price when you have the loyalty card. And, smile, like so many supermarkets, its software will accept another store's card. The advantages of this sort of marketing must be obvious to the management...but it's not clear how it works to improve the customer's lot.”
