“Give me a local, family owned and operated business any day! I stopped by on my way through the mountains and met Doris, the owner. Service and personal attention were great. I didn't find the prices were high but I never mind paying a little more when service is great and I know the revenue they generate is helping a family and a community rather than being sent out of state or worse, overseas.”
“Great store they have a lot of variety and sell candy ,snacks, staple grocery items, local honey, sodas deli items and Appalachian Trail re supplies. And bunch more i did not even mention all and all staff always great and store was clean!”
“I live this place! They have anything you can imagine! Some prices may be a bit higher than other places.....but that's the price you pay for convenience! Service is excellent! Everyone who works there is pleasant from the time you walk in the door. Thanks Pinkies!!”

“Let's face it, we all dispise the price of fuel right now. The good news is that at this convenience store you can get a burger from the Burger King attached, a tasty brew, and pump fuel with a beautiful view of the mountains. If any convenience store can help us suffer in silence it's this place. :-) It won't always be this way folks so let's get through it together and look forward to better fuel days ahead.”
“Fantastic staff and clean store. The assistant manager James is a treasure. It's a shame reviews don't expire as the staff has essentially completely new and the store is has been renovated.”

“Always a great grocery store. The grocery clerks were polite. The store was clean. Food Lion has a great variety. ( only issue they changed the French bread its dry and tastes like crusty flour) its not the bakers fault Food Lion changed the recipe to the French bread like 15 years ago to this weird recipe and it is not good like at Walmart. But Food Lion has DELICIOUS birthday cakes and everything else!!!”
