We just tried her waterless bath option and he was the softest he’s ever been and smelled so good! And, best part, he wasn’t a nervous wreck being in his home and not having to get into a tub with water spraying. 10/10 highly recommend if you also have a nervous pup!

35070 Germanna Heights Dr Suite C, Locust GroveVery knowledgeable veterinarians and a surgeon. They did a TPLO surgery on my dog and a CCL surgery on the other leg this year. Both were successful. They always call to see how your pet is doing after you see them. Just make sure you ask for an in person appointment if you want to go back with your pet because they are still using the Covid protocol as of September 2024, so you are likely to get an appointment where they just take your pet back while you wait in the car. I love the veterinarian there, though. They are thorough and super nice.

Locust Grove Veterinary Clinic
4092 Germanna Hwy, Locust GroveLocust Grove Vet Clinic has been really great to me and my three dogs. They are affordable and very informative. The negative is that their office is only Mon-Fri. Our household has both adults working full time jobs so that means one of us would have to take off work to have our pets be seen. Granted we aren’t in the vets office often so we can make it work for the great service and quality care, but it would be something to keep in mind for someone who would benefit from an office that is open on Saturdays and needs more frequent visits or a single household. Highly recommend based off of the care they provide though if you can make that work for you. Like I said, they are very helpful and are very kind to my pets!

I usually get the chili dogs and Italian ices (both delicious), and my mother loves their custard. The people working there have always been very friendly, kind, and considerate. Excellent spot for a snack.

Hong Kong House Chinese Restaurant
32345 Constitution Hwy G, Locust GroveHong Kong Restaurant is five miles further from my home than two other restaurants, and I have historically gotten Chinese pickup from those other places. I finally gave them a try recently. We got a pupu tray and two entrees with fried rice on the first visit, and another pupu tray and fried chicken wings on the second. The food was outstanding, the prices were lower than the others, and the portions left enough for leftovers on both occasions. It's a small place and not ideal for a night out. The staff was extremely friendly and reminded me to take a free soda with each entree. My wife also loved the food, and we ate every item on pupu (unheard of in my home). This is now my default Chinese takeout!
