“For a smalltown store, the quality, variety and prices are not terrible. There are good selections of healthy(ier) food options....almost like a mini-Whole Foods but not as expensive.”

“Quirky little restaurant. They have a limited, artisan menu that was pretty tasty (just make sure to ask for extra home fries if you're there for breakfast)”

“I always wanted to make a stop but never had the time until today. They have a great variety products (like exotic meats and handmade lip balm!) and I appreciated the little grab and go treats. The ladies working there were also so warm and lovely :)

I also had the pleasure of meeting local business owner Kurt and trying a sample of his Lucious Lucille seasoning. I can see myself making a creamy cajun mac and cheese with it aside from just meat. Bonus points for the clean ingredients and friendly meet and greet!”

“I've lived in Loudoun for some.time now and I've never been in the mercantile in Hamilton. I'd heard that the folks from King Street coffee are there now so I stopped in and was not disappointed. Coffee was excellent, service was super friendly and they were serving cow bell scones that were perfect. Will be my regular stop.”

“This is a small country store with different types of items. Small deli inside, freshly made as you order. I make it a point to stop in for inexpensive items and items I can't get in Leesburg.”

“Great staff!!! Place is a bit messy and unorganized. Just so much merchandise on the floor and not enough room. Only reason for the 4 stars and not 5. But the entire staff is great and very friendly.”

“Stopped here for a breakfast sandwich and coffee the morning after an overnight stay at nearby Lockhouse 28 while biking the C&O Canal Towpath trail. Not the safest route from the trail to the deli due to a stretch of on-the-road biking with little to no shoulder, so be alert. Otherwise, the ready-made bacon, egg, and cheese on a bagel breakfast sandwich I had was tasty, warm, a nd satisfying, especially when paired with a cup of fresh hot coffee. A variety of convenience store items to purchase as well (drinks, chips, snacks, etc.).”

“Been driving past for years taking the kids to baseball, finally stopped in for coffee. Turns out they do breakfast sandwiches, something northern and western Loudoun are in short supply. (I’m from NJ ?) looks like high end ingredients, can’t wait to come back and try.
Reading thru the reviews, its a common theme nowadays, great food, bad service. My experience here reveals bad training, not bad employees. We walked in, young guy behind the counter is working diligently on something with his back to us, there’s a bell on the door, we shuffled our feet, and nothing. He doesn’t look up, doesn’t say hi. Once engaged with him though, he opens right up and starts telling me all about the products and how awesome this place is.
Idk, I could be wrong, but did anybody explain to him what world class service looks like? Do the owners really understand the importance, and is there ANY training programs in place? (I know, small mom and pop…yeah yeah, it’s post Covid, there are countless choices, get with it mom and pop, or I’m going to Denny’s!)
I’m sick and tired of owners and managers (not specifically this place now) complaining about kids nowadays and can’t find good help. Do you even have an employee handbook for your business? Do you have ANY systems, processes or procedures in place that said employee can be trained to a standard?
Wake up mom and pop, you can’t just hand a kid a notepad and tell them to go take my order.
But I digress, will be back for the breakfast, maybe some local maple syrup too. Very excited about a new to me spot!”

“Such a cute general store! It has candy, milk, eggs, cheese, drinks and wool items. The owner is so sweet and tell you history about the town and events going on. Her wool socks she makes are amazing!”

“A very nice grocery store! 1. outstanding produce section. The freshness is top quality. That's one of the most important criteria for me in choosing a grocery store.2. Seafood department. They have a surprisingly good dejection of fresh fish at a competitive price. They host a food truck that sells fresh steamed crabs a few times during the summer. 3. May department. They offer grass fed beef cuts at very good prices...often very close to their regular beef prices. 3. General grocery aisles. They have most of the same things you'd find at any chain store. Prices here are generally 10percent higher than you'd find at other area chains like Giant or Harris Teeter. 4. They offer a fairly decent senior discount. On Tuesdays seniors can get 10% off all store brand products. Pretty nice. 5. They offer a Shopper rewards program that can be used reduce the price of a gas fill up (they have a gas station on site that charges a price that's similar to the Sheetz next door. Seasonally you can use points to get free holiday turkeys or hams. One unspoken benefit to earn extra points...if you take they'reTheir online satisfaction survey, you earn 100 bonus points... up to once ever 7 days...in addition to the points you earn from your purchase. So you can earn quite a few points even if all you buy is a bottle of soda each week.6. Super friendly and helpful staff. I can honestly say that customer service here is among the best of any grocery store in the area... not saying that the others aren't good, but the staff here is just super helpful.Overall this Weis is gradually winning my loyalty over the stores I usually shopped at.”

“Giant grocery stores can be found in some of the southeastern states. Here in the East, we have Stop & Shop. The stores are totally identical with the same layout. I stopped by the Giant store, for some quick necessities. It looks like your average grocery store that has everything one may find in a grocery store. This Giant grocery store, however has a giant selection of wine. It's as big as the selection of olive oil, times three, in other stores. It does make a lot of sense, since this is Loudoun county, and wine and vineyards are the big attraction.”
