“This is a very good independent grocery store! I'm a regular Mom's Organic Market shopper. This store is better in some ways such as wider selection of products. I believe Mom's produce might be a bit more extensive based on my search for organic ginger roots. I didn't find any at Common Market. However 4.5 stars would be my more accurate rating. I'm delighted that enough people got together to form a co-op. I will make it a point to return when I'm back in Frederick.”

Voila is the best tea store anywhere remotely around. I drive 45 minutes up here from Leesburg where I have 2 other tea stores near me where neither come close to the taste and quality of their teas.Tea on the Beach is my absolute favorite whether it’s iced or cold! You won’t regret stopping!”

“EDIT: I recently went back to the store after learning there was a change in management and had a great experience. The owner is kind and the staff is good. The prices aren't bad either. I'm happy with this experience.Previous review from 4 years ago before new management:Although the meats are good, we’ve always had bad experiences here. Sometimes the guy at the register gets noisy and looks at my balance in my card and comments on it. That gets on my nerves a lot. but today i’ve decided to never shop here again. i’ll look for another halal store because some of the staff members are petty.”

“Great service. I called because I needed green plantains and I often go to supermarkets and they might have plantains, but they can be ripe, or semi. The store is very clean, and it is very well lit. The butcher shop is well run, and the butcher is very energetic. You will enjoy his music! “On one of my many trips back home for the month long birthdays I had to attend I needed to stop and pick up a gift card or two. That is basically why I stopped here. Honestly, I had no idea that Giant Eagle reached this far. I was shocked when I found one in Bedford, PA, but for one to be here, it threw me.This Giant Eagle is part of a larger plaza, I guess you can say that it is the anchor as it is by far the biggest retailer in the plaza. Parking is ample and can make for a quick entry/exit.Inside it is well organized and everything appeared to be stocked. I didn't look around too much as my mind was on gift cards only. I went straight to that area and started to browse.I have to say, they had a fine selection of gift cards and made choosing one a bit hard. I circled the display a few times before honing in on one section and then stayed there for a few good minutes having an inner debate on which gift card would be most appropriate.Once the selection was made I headed for the registers. Made sure to scan my rewards card and was out the door.”

“Stopped here for a breakfast sandwich and coffee the morning after an overnight stay at nearby Lockhouse 28 while biking the C&O Canal Towpath trail. Not the safest route from the trail to the deli due to a stretch of on-the-road biking with little to no shoulder, so be alert. Otherwise, the ready-made bacon, egg, and cheese on a bagel breakfast sandwich I had was tasty, warm, a nd satisfying, especially when paired with a cup of fresh hot coffee. A variety of convenience store items to purchase as well (drinks, chips, snacks, etc.).”
