“I have been going to JHC for about 20 years. I have had very good general practitioners/doctors there. I have had very good referrals when needed. The doctors have taken time with me and listened to my issues. There have been retirements and other changes so the doctors changed. My experience with each doctor has been good. I am completely satisfied with my healthcare. In the past the phone service was a problem but that has been corrected. I have been able to do a walk-in getting an appointment the same day I called. My one issue now is that I cannot send a message through the patient site that was available before. I don't know why this has changed but I would like to be able to send messages to my doctor as before. It helped get info or ask questions.”

“I called the tire department first thing this morning in distress that my car needs a tire as i found it flat after a long night shift. I explained I commute from Danville and don’t feel safe to use my spare to get home and then had to drive back home and then travel to work tonight. I was very emotional… but then Albert kindly walked me through what tire I would need and advised he would do his best to work me in. Albert continued to show some much compassion when I arrived that he explained he wanted to see if he could fix my tire or change it quickly so I could get rest. Albert worked so promptly and fixed my tire. He went above and beyond to fix my tire and assure me that I don’t need to buy a tire at this time. Albert made my week. He showed me that in the midst of chaos there are such good people in this world. Truly some of the best service I’ve had in a very long time!!!!!”

“I went from Walgreens to CVS to Kroger on 221 but the staff at this pharmacy are incredibly helpful and very fast at getting prescriptions filled. They have a machine that helps get them filled automatically so they are never behind and I get mine filled the day I submit it. It's so refreshing to have a pharmacy that cares about helping me and getting things done efficiently.”
“I can usually find what I need at this store, but the parking is terrible (not the store’s fault). Staff is friendly. I was disappointed that I had to use self checkout when there were 3 people behind the counter talking instead of being ready for a customer.”
“I had the best experience at this CVS location waiting to drop off my UPS package due to a system delay. My daughter also wanted some beauty supplies and couldn't find them and Kelly was able to help her right away. She knew exactly where the product was. Kelly and the young lady with red hair were so welcoming and friendly they both made the experience of waiting less daunting. Customer service out of this world. “Don't go to Walgreens often BUT I got some photos developed and decided to walk around. It was week before Christmas busy upon entry yet the staff were all kind, friendly and being very positive and joyous with each other and the patrons. Smiles everywhere. It was so REFRESHING!! Alana and Kyle both helped us and we're both breaths of fresh air and sunshine. And my daughter said Kyle was the nicest man she'd meet all month! When the holidays can let out your scrooge side and we all know people take it out on employees, this team didn't let it effect their day! It was a wonderful start to the day :)”

“We love this Kroger primarily because of the staff. My husband is a star at this location and knows just about everyone by name. They are kind and loving to my toddler son and the help in every department has always been stellar. I use self check-out exclusively, but often need assistance and never wait more than a minute to get it. I am very comfortable here as it is in my neighborhood and I'm familiar with the lay out--my review is based on my comfort. While the Forest location offers far more variety in produce, etc, I am satisfied with this Kroger because of the convenience. They offer enough selection of a few things that are mandatory for me: organic produce and gluten-free frozen/packaged foods. From time to time I use the pick-up and delivery options from Kroger and that has also been a pleasure. They have called before replacing items that are not in stock. The one time I had an issue, I was offered a gift card for the inconvenience. It may be because I am blessed by the Universe, but every time I park there I get a space right by the cart return. I have lost my wallet there twice and both times the staff have retrieved it and held it for me. This speaks to their honesty and the honesty of the customers who shop there (and also my favor by the Universe...). Right now there's a lot of construction for the gasoline pumps so it can be crowded and congested. There's been a lot of upheaval because of this--people don't like it. I zero care about it because I can go to the grocery store early and I'm typically not in any hurry to shop. But if you're rushed for time, it may cause some hang-ups.”

“CVS at 2009 Wards Road Lynchburg location has always been my favorite pharmacy and to get my personal items. I always get deals on my purchases. I love my extra bucks and the extra care rewards program is a great benefit with the $10 bonus every month. What a gift?, I have used to stock up my paper towel and tissue. A blessing in disguise.
CVS team is also, Reliable. Polite. Get things done in a timely manner. Great team effort. Always show courtesy and compliance to all of the their customers.Great store and pharmacy hours. My medications are always ready and they always let me know if there are any delays. Also ,have all immunizations available. I really love this location and hope it stays in business.
