Paws For Holistic Pet Care

We are having a few medical issues with Hanno, our 5 y.o. German Shepherd. He had his first seizure about two months ago, then another one a month ago. At that point we opted to stop all pharmaceuticals (Apoquel, ProHeart 12) especially after learning they can cause seizures. Going forward we will get titers testing done before doing any further vaccinations.We looked around Boise for a holistic vet practiced in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM) so we could holistically heal Hanno and thought we’d found one. The results were less than impressive and we are still waiting to hear back from them a week later!I remembered that Rebecca L G Verna is a Holistic Vet and I contacted her. This morning, she spent an hour and fifteen minutes on the facetime call with my wife and me. She asked a TON of questions and even looked at Hanno over the video. Her knowledge is impressive and I felt like she was really invested in his well-being. She gave Hanno more attention on the facetime call than the local “TCVM” vet did in person. Not an exaggeration at all.Going forward, our go to vet is Dr. Becky Verna at Paws for Holistic Pet Care and we will use the local vet to run the labs and do the ‘hands on’ things we cannot do over the phone. You want a vet who will lean forward into the care of your doggie, I highly recommend Rebecca L G Verna. Thank you Becky!

Simply amazing!!

I don’t often leave reviews unless I have something either really positive or really negative to say, so the folks at Orleans Market and Pub were outstanding. They truly went above and beyond with their level of service, quality, packaging, presentation and plating.

My wife had been a bit under the weather going into Mother’s Day weekend, so we opted to have the whole Sunday brunch catered.

From the initial contact, helping us decide the menu, invoicing and payment, pick up scheduling and finally, consumption, it was a flawless experience. Even the way they packaged the individual poached eggs so that we could assemble our own eggs Benedict showed the hugest level of care ans attention to detail.

We are now planning on ordering a weekly Niçoise salad tray as well the upcoming Father’s Day brunch!

We cannot wait to have a dine in experience!

We recently moved up from south Florida and were regular attendees to the South Beach Food and Wine festival. From that frame of reference, I feel the food at this establishment could not only easily compete, but outperform!

Field & Main Restaurant

We had the absolute pleasure of dining at Field & Main, and the entire evening was nothing short of exceptional. We were seated in a private, heated cabana with soft lighting and string lights, which created the most intimate and beautiful farm-to-table atmosphere.

Every dish from start to finish was incredible. The OooMami Smash Burger with Ovoka & Chapel Hill Farms ground beef and umami bacon jam was unforgettable, and the bison strip steak — three peppercorn crusted with bourbon cream, maitake mushrooms, potatoes, arugula salad & sab — was perfectly prepared and full of flavor. We ended the night with the deep dish brownie with hazelnut praline, toasted hazelnuts & vanilla ice cream, which felt like a stunning, elevated take on a Ferrero Rocher.

What truly made the experience stand out was our server, Kyle H. He was warm, personable, and incredibly knowledgeable, taking the time to share the restaurant’s history and roots in a way that made the night feel so personal. He even prepared a latte himself for my fiancée — who loves coffee — and she absolutely loved it.

Overall, this was one of the best, if not the best, dining experiences we’ve ever had. We cannot wait to return.
