They make sure each set up is proper before youre able to adopt a pet. They want to ensure the quality of life after leaving the store, especially the manager. Shes helped me create a full ecosystem thats cohesive with each personality of fish.
I've adopted fish, and now a snake from this location, and the staff is beyond knowledgeable and helpful. I personally believe the comments below are people who are truly ignorant with the needs of each pet.
The only comment i can agree with is, they seem to be understaffed so there are longer wait times. Years ago people got upset pet stores would give pets to anyone, and now they are upset that they care so much. You cant please everyone, however I truly enjoy the staff here and their dedication.

13950 Estate Manor Dr, GainesvilleI cannot recommend Glenkirk Animal Hospital enough. For 6 years they provided wonderful care for my aging dog. All the staff are friendly and professional. Dr Naqi is fantastic. From our first appt (they saw us same day even though we weren't current patients) they made me and my dog feel cared for. They are not overly priced and will go over different treatment options with you that fit your budget. Tragically I had to put my dog down recently after a good, long 14 years, and the team at Glenkirk were right there, making sure my dog and I were comfortable and his end was comfortable and dignified. I highly recommend them to anyone.

Everyone in our family enjoyed their meal, and the service was excellent from start to finish. We left very happy and will definitely be back!
