“I’ve purchased a ton of paint from this Benjamin Moore and It’s always been a great experience. Their customer service is top-notch and a huge shout out to John in particular! The street was recently blocked off and I had purchased over 20 gallons of paint to pick up. I was able to find parking a few blocks away and John loaded them up in a cart and brought them directly to my car and helped me load them up. Now that is Outstanding customer service and it truly made my day.”

Between the quality grills offered, preassembly, delivery, hauling away of the old grill, setting up my propane tank, and running a check on the grill, Ace Hardware is a keeper. “My experience with Ace Hardware is solely from where I grew up in CT. This is a lot different, in a better way (I guess that’s a subjective thought). I was “used to” an unorganized place full of actual hardware from a-z as well as a lot of indoor/outdoor paint and a paint mixer. In short, I was used to Ace hardware being targeted at real handymen in the midst of a project and in need or something very specific.This store is like “a little of everything” for every part of your apartment. It’s walkable from a lot of apartments around here, and it sells all sorts of things you might need in your apartment (you don’t need to be a handyman or hardcore DIY-er to find a bunch of useful things). A huge variety of things you might need in a pinch. Granted, most are really overpriced, but I wouldn’t complain because it’s all about convenience and location. If you complain about the prices, go ahead and drive into Virginia, lose an hour of your day and walk up and down a huge store. Overall, the convenience and variety in this store is worth slightly higher prices. Nice people, as well.”

“I've been here twice now and both times I've felt like a valued customer. The staff always greet me when I walk in and ask if I need help finding anything, which is really inviting. The staff running the shop know where products are and can give you some insight about what projects you might have. They have a wonderful variety in products and I feel you could generally find what you need here. Prices are reasonable and relative to the quality of items sold here.”

“Thos. Somerville Co. is an excellent distributor of plumbing, heating and AC supplies in DMV. It took me endless efforts to find o-rings for my leaky vacuum breaker at hardware stores. None of them worked. Finally I used Google to search plumbing suppliers. Staff of Thos. Somerville let me buy Watts vac breaker instead of o-rings, and made sure I knew how to install it. It took me 5 minutes and 25 dollars to resolve my longtime headache. The company with superb expertise and friendly service is highly appreciated and strongly recommended.

I ended up ordering all of the materials for my deck and screened porch floor replacement from Sheets. “I wanted to update my review with more positive feedback. I hadn't used my mower for years and decided to start mowing my lawn again this year and took the mower in to be service. They did a great and timely job and had it ready for me when promised. It's been running great.
I purchased my electric mower here a few years ago and I'm extremely pleased with it. It's easy to charge and reliable. The charge is more than enough for me to mow both my front and back yards. The only service I need is to have the blade sharpened. They're honest and reasonable. I highly recommend Commercial Mower Depot!”
