“Everything is supposed to change over to scan n go within a month. I can speak for the bakery and meat section. Their meats are beautiful. Everyone works hard at keeping up with cleanliness and trying to keep things in order. Our cafeteria is nice as well. A very busy little section. The food is good. Come visit us. Just download the Sam's club app and stop by our members service desk to get a membership card. They have a nice selection of everything. ?? See you soon.”

Frequent new products are usually worth trying. Seasonal products throughout the year. Special in-store events often. Self checkout works well.”
“Harris Teeter is a well managed grocery store. It's clean and the shelves are always well stocked. The employees are very friendly and there to help you with your needs. You can find a wide variety of products at a fairly reasonable price. They have an exceptionally good meat and sea food department worth visiting while you shop.”
“Denbigh Pharmacy has a really cool old school neighborhood pharmacy feel to it. Very clean and well stocked. And a friendly and knowledgeable staff. “Got 4 new tires, and I could not be happier. The tire center there got my car in and out in the time they gave me for my appointment. Andrew L. was awesome, his customer service is second to none there. He had a disgruntled customer and handled it with such professionalism. Never escalated the situation and made sure the customer was taking care of. 26 years in the military, wish I had people that good. I will be back! Highly recommend for all tire needs.”

“I have a complex med regimen, so I often feel I'm constantly @ the pharmacy, and I definitely have LOTS of experience with the range of customer service experiences one might expect @ a pharmacy. Let me say this: The folks staffing this pharmacy are AWESOME. They greet me personally and are never too busy for my questions. They work hard to make sure I can get things rapidly when I'm unwell. They interface with my insurance company when there are problems/billing issues/miscommunications. They are thorough. They are kind and courteous. They are never rude, impatient, lax in their responsibilities to the customer, or otherwise compromised. Honestly, I think much of this comes from the top: The managing pharmacist and the other lead pharmacists are truly just very kind and professional, and I see them treat their supporting employees really well, too. I had been going to the CVS across the street, just because I'd been using CVS since I'd moved to VA 5 years ago. The difference between the CVS and this Walgreens is a complete 360. So glad this Walgreens is my home pharmacy, and I'll be happy to patronize them for my entire family's needs for as long as we live here in Newport News!”

“Unfortunately this Walgreens has the rudest pharmacy employees. I requested four prescription refills through the app on Wednesday and was informed only one was ready and the others were delayed until Friday. Friday I get a notice two more are ready and one still delayed. The one delayed is actually a week overdue so unsure why the delay. I inquired why & was asked by "Adam" if I wanted to come in and fill the prescription myself? Then told I can no longer do business with #1040 Walgreens!!! Customer service at it's worst!!!”

“Great stock and great prices! This location is always well stocked! I've also consistently have had great interactions with employees and staff! I was in awe of customer service. My only fault is how insanely packed this location always is and how long it takes to get out o the parking lot for this exact reason. I don't think it's popularity and heavy traffic is any fault to the great experience inside of the store, so I still give it 5 stars!”

One Pharmacist had to manage 7 cars in the drive-thru and 5 people inside in line, and the lines both kept adding people. The Pharmacist was calm, polite, respectful, sincere, and organized. All Associates in this store carry themselves as professionals on a daily basis.”

“Excellent, flexible ability to reach and depart from every pump, Also, pumps facing left and right, so no matter which side of your vehicle takes it you have options -- not that it matters because hoses also *extra * long here. Also, when there are lines, they move quickly. There is no better or safer place to buy fuel, so as long as I have to do that I'll always maintain a Costco membership. Well worth it, too because their gas prices are almost always lower than all competition.”
