Lakewood Ace Hardware is a locally owned hardware store that has been serving the neighborhood for over 30 years. The store prides itself on carrying "hard to find" items, especially for older homes, as well as newer products to make home repairs easier. The experienced employees are knowledgeable and can assist customers with most questions or problems. They carry top-brand products, and if an item is not in stock, they will order it. Customers praise the friendly and helpful staff, who often offer assistance without being asked. The store may be a bit more expensive than big-box stores, but customers appreciate the convenience and personal service. While the selection is generally good, some reviewers note that the store can be out of stock on less common hardware items.
