Candlewood Suites Norfolk Airport is a hotel suited for extended stays, featuring rooms with full kitchenettes and dishwashers. The property is generally quiet and comfortable, with a beautiful lobby. Its location is convenient, within walking distance of restaurants, shopping, and grocery stores. Parking is also noted as great and easily accessible.
Guest experiences with room cleanliness are mixed, with reports of nice, clean rooms but also significant complaints of dirty, unvacuumed carpets, filthy floors, and housekeeping service errors. Staff reception varies; the front desk crew is described as very helpful, friendly, and respectful when present, with specific praise for their exceptional service. However, there are also instances where rooms were not ready upon arrival.
The great staff is probably the only redeeming quality of this place. This place is clearly falling apart and maintenance clearly is overworked. The whole building truthfully needs to be renovated.
