“Hello! I brought my car to Baview BP to have an inspection renewed. I knew I needed a bulb replacement for a turn signal and let them know. The mechanic called me back with an hour or two to let me know what would be needed to pass inspection and their plan to correct it, but he also took the time to let me know about some items that were not inspection related, but could possibly cause me problems down the road. He was jovial, patient, and professional when answering my annoying amount of questions, and I am grateful for that.
The cost was significantly below what I thought it would be, and they had a great turnaround on their vehicles. I think I brought my car in at 9AM and had it back by 1-ish, but YMMV, based on the number of customers for that day. I had what I would call close-to-perfect service here, and I will be a repeat customer for sure.

“After checking out Naval Station Norfolk, my boyfriend and I checked out the Norfolk Main Navy Exchange (NEX). If you've never been, it's like a department store! They sell everything from clothing and accessories (including hats, scarves, jewelry, handbags), electronics, cookware, seasonal decorations (including christmas trees and nutcrackers), and more. My boyfriend was in search of a beanie while I was in search of a cool-looking Navy shirt. We found a nice beanie but not a cool-looking Navy shirt. However, I'll admit that the Hard Rock Cafe Navy hat was kind of cool!”
“Only place that has a working air pump for tires. $1.50. Not free, but cheaper than the others. Works good inflates fast. All the other machines took air from my tires this one actually put the air in my tires.”
“Consistently the lowest priced gas in Norfolk, which can be an additional 10 cents less expensive per gallon when paying with WalMart Pay if you have WalMart +. Beware - the parking lot is a madhouse as this is typically the busiest gas station around. It's dirty, grungy, and poorly staffed, but the gas is cheaper than anywhere else and it's located in an area that a lot of people traffic. It is well lit at night. Be careful and enjoy the cheap gas.”
“I love the fact that as a member the gas is always $0.05 cheaper. Add the fact my membership adds another $0.05 off and I am stoked! Never wait in line all that long and even when I travel to Florida there is a BJ’s close by!”
“Costco pharmacy is not only the cheapest place to fill my prescriptions but also the friendliest. The staff are all very kind and some, like Lisa and Rose at the Newport News VA location always go above and beyond and even remember your name. Now that's customer service!”

“I was in Norfolk on a very busy workday and had unfortunately let my work van run almost out of gas.I was also hurting because I left my last job,trying to get to my next job and didnt use the restroom before I left.I never knew you could go for miles in Norfolk and only see neighborhoods and colleges.So I was hurting and my van was hurting.I put gas stations into Google maps and twice it tried to send my to a Burpees gas station in Texas,lol.So I put in Exxon stations and , low and behold, this station turned up.I came over the bridge and I went into the station to the right most pump which refused to accept my work gas card.I don't go inside to do charges on gas pumps.I was just about to leave when I saw the long row of pumps saying 'use your card here'.So I stopped there and bingo! Gas for my trusty Ford work van.I finished that and I kind of dredded going inside.This is an old school Exxon gas station with service garages and most stations like this, close their bathrooms because some of the customers are so damn nasty.But ,wow,what a miracle!If you have been 'holding' for a solid hour, you know what I mean.The guy at the counter was chill and courteous and said,"yea ,sure,its right there."I went in ,did what I had to do,left it as clean as I recieved it- which was very clean- in a gas station no less, and went to but two ginger ales and a chocolate chip cookie ice cream bar and went to my next job.Thank you to the great people who run and clean and keep this classic Exxon alive.Man,did you save my bacon on this day.Thank you brothers.”

“It's just like any other corner store the guy that works in the morning is cool he's always friendly. But the one guy at night acts like everything is a problem any time you ask him something it's always a no.”
“This is my usual neighborhood has station. I go here at least every other day and the cashiers are always nice to me. Sometimes there may be some homeless people around but they don't really bother anyone. If I do see them, the same ones and they are very polite and don't beg. They are very willing to work for whatever they ask for. Don't let this stop you from stopping here because it is very seldom that I have a problem at this location.”

“We stopped by Costco this morning to get some gasoline. They have some of the best prices in the area. Right now, regular gasoline is $2.66 per gallon. While we were there, we went inside to pick up a few things for dinner tonight. We really enjoy the Chilean Sea Bass and we found a nice filet. Their fresh produce is value priced, fresh and delicious. They also offer competitive prices for meats like chicken, pork, steak and turkey during the holidays.”
“Solid gas station experience. The people that work the registers are talented and friendly. They are usually short staffed but they’ve made every effort to not let that affect them. Gas prices tend to be on par with out in town or a couple cents cheaper. Liquor is provided at the package store so there should be no negatives put on them since that’s a Virginia/the south thing.”

“I took my (deployed) buddy's car in for an oil & filter change, fluid flush, and VA State Inspection at around 10am on 9Sep2022. They had a reasonably long line of cars already, but managed to get me in with a guarantee to begin in the late afternoon. As promised they started at around 2 or 3pm and gave me a call to ask if I would like the windshield wipers replaced to pass the only hit on the inspection (which I had noticed were pretty worn down previously,) to which I agreed. All said and done it was timely, cost efficient, and on the up-and-up.”
