I went down the road to this Exxon and as I was preparing to put my quarters into the slot (only 75 cents there) a young man employee called out from across the way to ask if I needed air. He came to my car with a hose from the shop, checked inside the door for the proper fill amount and filled all four tires. He was friendly, kind, mannerly and saved the day for me. Had I been left to myself I’d have been running even later. His name is Hayden and if you ever need a truly kind and helpful Exxon man, he’s the one!”

What's a regional product, you ask? They have Stuckey's products, McCutcheons jams and such, and Wells barbeque sauce, a staple in my house. We buy two jugs to last us a year between trips to the Outer Banks, can't can't can't live without it! They have teeny tiny 18oz. bottles for the babies, and one gallon jugs for the adults, take yer pick. Basically The Border Station is the best pit stop on the East Coast, my oasis on my way to or from the OBX.”
