“Had read the dismal reviews and was hesitant to go to this branch to conduct some mundane account business. But because of its proximity to my home I decided to drop in. My experience was a pleasant one....checked in upon entering and waited no more than 2-3 minutes before a young man introduced himself and asked me into his office to discuss my needs. Of course I can't recall his name.......but he was polite, knowledgeable, and attentive. He easily took care of the issues that I needed addressed and, with that, I was on my way. The chat system did not work, the customer service number did not have relevant options or a way to connect with a real person. I was fortunate to find a number to go directly to the Ft. Myer’s Branch and have Candace answer. She was great. My rating is for her and her branch. After 50 years being with Armed Forces Bank and its predecessor Fort Knox National Bank, this is the first time I would give the Bank itself a 0 star rating for today’s experience with its online system.”
