“What a fantastic branch. I needed to cash a “bunch” of savings bonds. They had one teller and could have sent me packing. They didn’t, instead they cashed as many as time permitted and then the branch manager called another branch who had more capacity. She scheduled a time for me at this bank and I was able to complete all my transactions. I can’t imagine better customer service than this. This team is awesome!”
“This is my preferred local banking. This is a community based bank which is part of their service value. They staff and management is more than accommodating to their customers. Unlike "big banks" they know and care about customer needs and will work with you individually. And, when it comes to small business? You can't find a better business. They will invest in your business as a partner. This is true in their checking, savings, financial concerns personally or as a business. Personally, I go to the Springfield branch. The management there is awesome. And, as a customer, they provide additional services that other banks don't. And, they have multilingual staff which is a plus. I trust their leadership and management to guide us through current times.”

“The Wells Fargo Bank branch at Old Keene Mill Road and Rolling Road in West Springfield is a good one. The drive-through moves quickly and the tellers are friendly. As a Wells Fargo customer I've used the inside notary and Medallion Seal services. The branch stocks Euros and UK Pounds in foreign currency for exchange services. Other currencies are available for a fee and must be ordered in advance. Downsides: The ATM sometimes runs out of money after a long weekend. The corner location makes the bank difficult to reach and then exit and return from the same direction.”

Ms. Ledis Gares was on her way out trying to make her to a family trip that had been scheduled a few weeks earlier but when she saw that she was the only one with the knowledge and power to finalize an important transaction for me, she quickly took over and helped me! I was afraid I was going to have to come back to the bank as this was a day, I had taken off from work to get things done, so I was extremely pleased to see that Ms. Gares put customers first. It is not easy to do banking anymore with all this apps and automated services, so it is great to experience that this BOA's branch is always open and available for business. Very satisfying!”

“I had the pleasure of working with Whitley , her customer service was incredible. From the moment I walked in the branch Whitley made sure all my inquiries were attended too in a professional and timely manner. I was absolutely floored by her attentiveness and determination working with me. I also dealt with a teller who worked with the drive through but had time to squeeze me in for my first bank deposit. I cant remember his name but I do remember he was from New York and kept me laughing and smiling my whole experience. I hope the owner or manager see this and gets to feel proud of her employers. I received the absolute BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER yesterday, Thursday March 31st, 2016 in Springfield, VA at the Capital One Bank Branch on Commerce Street. AMAZING Customer service is pretty much obsolete anymore; so you can imagine my astonishment after being approached and being helped on such a personable level that blew me away!! It gives me great pleasure to acknowledge the person that made my day yesterday.....it was Relationship Banker BAIRON AGUILA!!! He is not only awesome but a breath of fresh air to know that there are a few professionals left out there in the banking industry that honestly go out of their way to help someone. He went above and beyond the extra mile and I feel honored and blessed to have met him!! Let it be known that I was NOT a Capital One Bank customer prior to my arrival at his branch. I attempted to open an online savings account and I was having issues getting into the system. I went into the branch on Commerce Street in Springfield, VA and as soon as I walked in, within 3 seconds, I was approached by Mr. Aguila. I explained my situation and he offered to call the Capital One Customer service department and see what he could do to get my problem corrected. To make a long story short, Capital One 360 is different than the Capital One branches here in Northern Virginia. So, instead of opening my account with the online bank, I opened it with Mr. Aguila. He won my business with his professional, personable, going the extra mile approach and I am more than impressed with his services and skills. Not to mention the fact that he made the account opening process so very simple and minimal that I was out the door within 10 minutes if not under! If you are thinking about switching banks or maybe opening a new checking or savings account but don't know where to go, I CHALLENGE you to go see Mr. Bairon Aguila :) You will be more than happy with his services and he will definitely take care of you!! Not only does he deserve a pat on the back, a handshake, a raise and a big fat bonus for his "AWESOMENESS", he gets the 2016 BEST RELATIONSHIP BANKER EVER AWARD in my book!!! “Well, the SunTrust bank that I used before was the one at Richmond highway. They were fantastic, but after I relocate to another area I just started going to different branches, random, nearest to were I pass by. Then for some reason I started using the west Springfield branch. The customer service is awful. Some but not all service providers over there does not even represent SunTrust. It looks like the bank is not doing well (quite) and you can guess that those people are the main reason for it. But after I met Monica, the manager, things got better. She really knows what to do and how to treat people. She is the main reason why I gave five stars for this branch. Trust me, i dont want to mention names but some employees there even dont know what they are doing. I had the opportunity to get help from two of the employees and came out to be a disaster. One even asked for my phone number since she cant figure out what to do and said she will call me back once she figure out something and wants me to go and come back when she call me, wooow. That's when the manager came to the rescue. Man, she is good. Long story short, I can describe in detail if someone from SunTrust has a concern about what happened or to what I observed. This woman though needs an appreciation. Thank you Monica.”
