“I came here for a second opinion after visiting a different highly rated auto-body shop in sterling, who gave me an extremely high estimate for a couple door dings ($3k-$12k !). I don't know what their deal was, maybe they were trying to convince me to go through insurance so they could price gouge them. When I mentioned I had State Farm they immediately started complaining about how State Farm fights about every line item, which causes the whole process to take months to resolve.Anyway, CARSTAR was totally the opposite. They gave me a much more reasonable estimate - $1800 and one week, which was exactly accurate. Since the estimate was much lower I decided to not even involve State Farm and just pay out of pocket. The work was excellent and the communication on point throughout the process.”
