“I just want to say that my first experience at this post office was amazing the sweet lady who helped me out was beyond professional. My return experience hadn't been going that great until I came to this post office and she helped me out and made the experience easy for me. Not to mention she understood my struggle with returning anything to the UK. This lady with multitasking helping me and helping everybody else with a positive attitude. She deserves her flowers.”
“**Review for USPS: Exceptional Service Under Pressure**
I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the team at USPS for their outstanding assistance during a critical moment. With my wedding day approaching rapidly and my essential package delayed, I found myself in a stressful situation. Despite the challenges, the USPS staff not only directed me to another location but also provided invaluable assistance that ensured I received my wedding dress just in time.
Their responsiveness was remarkable. Despite the urgency and the redirection to another USPS store, they handled the situation with utmost professionalism and empathy. They understood the importance of my package and the time-sensitive nature of my predicament.
What impressed me most was their proactive approach and willingness to assist. They not only directed me to the nearest USPS store that could help but also ensured that the other store was informed of my situation. This coordination was crucial in ensuring that my package was located and expedited to me promptly.
Furthermore, the staff at the other USPS store were incredibly helpful and efficient. Despite the unexpected rush and last-minute request, they managed to locate my package and ensured it was ready for me to pick up just in time for my wedding day.
Thanks to the collaborative effort of both USPS locations, I received my wedding dress exactly when I needed it, allowing me to focus on the joyous occasion ahead. Their exceptional service and dedication turned what could have been a stressful ordeal into a successful resolution.
They not only deliver packages but also provide invaluable assistance in times of urgency. Thank you to both USPS locations for their outstanding support!

“Had the best experience ever at the USPS Herndon Post Office yesterday afternoon. I had to rush a shipment of close to fifty boxes of school related books for children on the island of Puerto Rico. During the day I was trying to figure out the best and most affordable way to get the boxes delivered and Patel helped me sort out the boxes, I needed, labels etc. During the afternoon I boxed all of the items with the help of my wife, son and daughter. By 5pm on this Friday I went back to the Post Office and Patel lent me four carts to unload our boxes. Meanwhile, the other employee there Zafirah started preparing the shipment orders and identified a mistake in the zip code which she kindly went about fixing one box at a time by using white out and correcting the mistake to ensure the shipment got there on time. She also had Patel set aside a “trolley” to ensure all boxes were loaded together so they could get there together instead of separately. It took about an hour to do it all but both Zafirah and Patel were mega kind and willing ti ensure the process went through smoothly. I can I thank them enough for their kindness and professionalism. This is what public service is all about !!!”
“I had a problem paying for my passport application because I forgot my pin number (dumb I know) but, even though I wasn’t fully prepared, they still gave me great customer service and treated me kindness and understanding. The application process itself went really smoothly so I had no trouble with that. Overall I’m just grateful I got to do the things I needed thanks to their help. :D”
“I came to this post office to renew my passport. I had no appointment. Only one person was in line in front of me, even though it was noon on a Monday. That person took about two minutes. When it was my turn, I was told to go into a small office to have my picture taken, which took maybe three minutes. Then I filled out the address (which they provided) on a priority mail envelope, which they also provided. They attached the picture to my application and then attached everything neatly and, with my approval, sealed it inside the envelope and that was it! I had no idea it would be so quick and easy! I thoroughly recommend this post office .”
“This USPS is NOT located inside the Marriott hotel. It is located inside the black build across the street from it inside the Delta Airlines Building. I had no problems here. No customers are ever here, but at the same time the employee seems to be burned out and into a breaking point.”
“I came here for finger printing and after visiting several different locations, it was successful doing it here! The woman and man who helped me were patient, nice and helpful. The digital finger printing machines are not all the same!”
“It's insane that there are negative reviews for this place. I experienced no wait and all the postal workers were professional, competent and efficient. This is the gold standard for a post office and is what civilization looks like. ;)”
“The only post office I’ve been to where I would give it a 5+ star, for passport service. Lovely lady’s at the counter. The first hour there was one lady at the counter with 2 appointments and 3 walk ins. She handled it very well by herself.”
“Went Friday at 3:30 p.m. It was a bit busy but the workers were doing a good and efficient job. Got my money order and was done with my transaction in 5 mins. Total time 20 mins.”
“This has been experience! Alfredo at USPS was extremely accommodating helpful. When I explained that we are new to the US and wanted some help with postal services.. I think this is the best branch of the US government and extremely customer focused. May your tribe grow.”
“I have to say that Valentina I believe her name is was amazing and handled my issues quickly and was polite to every person in line. Probably the best service received at a Post office ever. Thank you !”
“We can't say enough wonderful things about our mail carrier, Leslie! From the very first day she started delivering our mail, she brought not only efficiency but also a warm smile that brightens our office. Leslie is always punctual, ensuring that our mail arrives on time, come rain or shine.
Her attention to detail is remarkable—packages are handled with care, and she goes the extra mile to make sure everything is delivered safely. What sets Leslie apart, though, is her personal touch; she takes the time to greet everyone in the front office, making each interaction feel special. Leslie embodies the spirit of community and service, and we are so grateful to have her as our mail carrier.
Thank you, Leslie, for all that you do! You are truly a gem, and we appreciate you more than words can express!”
“I love all employees at this location ! Customer Service Skills are top-notch ! No matter what others may say about a LUNCH BREAK, the employees here need a break as well. I give TALITHA 10 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
“A place optimized for drop off... It's very useful when sending slightly sized packages. I'm using it well. I wish there was a place like this in Maryland, where I live.”

“Had a great experience with the woman who processed the application for my daughter's first passport. She couldn't have been nicer, was efficient in the process, and patient as she took my daughter's photo.”
“This is my go to post office. Every worker I've encountered has been extremely helpful and patient with me. That is very much appreciated. There is often a line which is to be expected given the services offered. However, I don't believe I've waited more than 15 minutes, at the longest, anytime that I've gone to do something other than dropping off a package. Do keep up the good work.”
“After reading these reviews I half expected the employees to start hurling rocks at me upon entering the building. Luckily for me my visit was perfectly fine and normal. I went in for a passport appointment and the employees who helped me were polite, knowledgeable, and helpful. No, the red carpet was not laid out before me, but everything that needed to be done got done in a timely manner and there were no rocks thrown. Remember that these USPS employees are civil servants working for a program that is bursting at the seams and experiencing unprecedented levels of understaffing. They serve hundreds of people a day, and due to the human condition, may not be feeling 100% at any given moment to say the least. Anyone who has ever worked retail can relate. A healthy dose of patience, politeness, and compassion will get you far, but some of you may need to hold a baby, or gaze upon the majesty of the stars, or contemplate our minuscule lives within the vastness of the universe before you interact with another postal worker. It’s a hard time out there - be kind to people and life will get easier, I promise.”
“One of your employees, Jeanne, is such a kind, down to earth, and respectful woman! I hope you really appreciate her.
She's friendly and upbeat, and sympathetic-- not something I see often with USPS and probably one of the best USPS employees have come across in the last couple of years. She's very good at making people feel at ease -- as someone who was recently let go from the government, her kindness, patience and understanding was greatly appreciated.”
