Barnes & Noble at VCU is a large, well-organized campus bookstore that offers a good selection of books and VCU-themed souvenirs. The store features a lounge area and a café, which many visitors find more relaxing than the nearby library, although the café's limited hours sometimes cut visits short. It is conveniently located near a parking garage and the basketball stadium, making it easy to access. The store is generally clean and the staff are friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming environment for shoppers. Visitors appreciate the variety of books available, though the store is mostly clothing and gift items. Some concerns include the cleanliness of the bathrooms and the absence of a magazine section. The location is recommended for buying textbooks and souvenirs, and it is considered one of the better Barnes & Noble locations visited. However, a few visitors noted frustrations, such as lack of hot food options due to equipment issues and the need to pay for parking. Overall, it is a popular spot for students and visitors seeking books, VCU merchandise, and a comfortable place to relax.
great selection, but their hours are questionable. closing at 5pm on weekdays isn’t reasonable for a college student’s schedule.

Pretty good campus bookstore, I like hanging out in their cafe more than the library because it's usually more empty. However I'm usually not there long because of the time it closes. Very good book selection even though it's only about a 3rd of the store or less ? it's mostly clothes
