“After having the worst possible experience ever with Enterprise and the customer service I was able to find some help after 4hours of traveling and calling… I went through 3 cars due to a vehicle maintenance issue JUSTIN BELL was so great and amazing! He helped move my luggage into the replacement/switch car. Even when I came back and said the Apple CarPlay didn’t work he and another team member tried to help connect my phone. In the end he just placed me in a car that had what I needed.. trust and believe the 5 starts is only because Justin was truly there when needed working to fulfill the complete customer expectations and SAFETY. If they had more people like him and his crew when I called the 800 number and other local branches my trip could’ve been much better! If you’re in the Richmond Va area or passing through and you need a rental or have issues with the one you have just give up calling 800 number head right to Justin.. ??♀️

“I owe Ryan an apology because I meant to say how fantastic of an experience I had working with him earlier this year much sooner than now! I was absolutely frazzled by a last minute failed reservation for a group van I needed from a major rental company (Not Enterprise, surprisingly). To Enterprise’s credit, the guy I spoke to there recommended I reach out to AutoMax, and thank God that Ryan picked up the phone at the crack of dawn (I called 15 minutes before they opened just to leave a voicemail but he picked up anyway) and enthusiastically informed me that he had plenty of van rentals to choose from. Didn’t hurt that his over-the-phone quote was $250 cheaper than the alternative. 20 minutes later he and I are signing the contract (and paying a very reasonable deposit) and chattering away like old friends. I think he could tell I was stressed and responded accordingly, which is a level of consideration that you don’t see often enough. The rental was maybe a month old fresh from the dealership and my car was fine being parked on the lot. One of the absolute best customer service experiences I’ve had in Richmond, period! Ryan, I hope this finds you well and thanks again. Keep doing what you’re doing!”

Ethan came and picked me up from the shop, found an excellent truck for me to use when my truck was being repaired, and was a professional and friendly person throughout the entirety of the process. He was incredibly helpful, let me park my car on-site without any hassle, and didn’t try to overcharge or upsell me—just honest, straightforward service. “Disappointed that all of the rental cars in Richmond Virginia were overbooked due to a couple of sports tournaments in town. But this particular location has always been helpful to us in the past. And it was no different this time, Chris especially was very helpful and set us up in a pick up truck within an hour or so of our original reservation. “I am genuinely surprised to see this place with a less than 4/5 overall rating. The location is a bit hard to find because the Budget sign isn't on the building and it just looks like a gas station, but I have never had such good customer service from a rental company. Everyone was very nice and knowledgeable. We were even given a discount after realizing we booked too small of a moving truck. They upgraded us two sizes and didn't charge us for the upgrade. I highly recommend these guys.”

“Indica and Amari were so helpful getting me in the right car at the right time! After my accident I was distraught and car-less and the insurance company sent me to Enterprise and I was worried about having to deal with all of the nonsense that comes with renting a car but Amari made it all make sense and had me in a car (a car way to big) by 10 am! she helped out later that day by getting me a much more reasonable little car! A week in I had a hiccup with the insurance company and I was so stressed but Indica called them up and sorted it all out for me (saved me from a really BIG headache) overall those two ladies made the whole experience so stress free and really simple!! “Horrible! Horrible! Don't do it! I've been renting here for years. It is always the same. Service is snail pace slow. Long lines. Not enough staff. Staff seems indifferent. Been waiting an hour already. Longer to fly from Atlanta to Richmond than to get my reserved car from Payless. 6 people ahead of me. 7 behind. We all look frustrated. Also, cars are not the best. One car was not clean. Don't sabotage yourself. I implore you. Rent from somewhere else. You get what you pay for, hence the name is appropriate.”
