“I have banked with freedom first for 15 years plus and the employees 99% of the time have been awesome. I will say this, in last 2 years I've had to get 3 new cards due to fraud, which to their credit they have caught every time and texted and called. Where you run into the issue is when you receive your new card you can activate it but when you follow the directions on the new card letter, call the phone number on the back of the card, or call the branch nobody can help you set up a new Pin # without being on hold and trying several options like their hands are tied. It has been a nightmare to do! The last two times I have offered suggestions, I have questioned if it can be run up the chain to figure out why my account is so hard to set the PIN. When you activate the account they tell you your card is good to use, without telling you to set a new PIN number. Then when you try to set your PIN you run into road block after road block with their automated system, and employees not knowing or having an answer. This last time we were able to get it done thru the mobil app, the time before I had to make an extra trip to the branch after numerous phone calls and road blocks. I truly enjoy banking with Freedom First and their employees other than this known and apparently continuing issue. The only answer I got last time which I should have known was they should have helped me set my new pin up when I picked my new card up at the branch. I should have known that I guess and that they would send an email to remind employee's that's what they should be doing.”

I walk in the lobby and they all know my name, it's not like they have incredible turnover of staff. It's a really nice Hometown kind of bank. I've dealt with all the big Banks and I can't stand any of them. These people are very honest and they tell it like it is. I hope to bank here forever.”
