“Conveniently located near downtown when you don't want to go down the strip toward West Main St. But it's very slow checking out due to the number of elderly folks in line.”

“Tonight Megan and her pharmacy techs went above and beyond to help with a stressful Rx situation. They helped to resolve a complex issue for my son’s refill while he is in WA! I’m so grateful for Megan’s knowledge and willingness to help coordinate from coast to coast!”

“Always friendly and welcoming. The Pharmacist, techs, and office workers always make sure I understand everything regarding my children's medications. I'll never go to another pharmacy to pick up prescriptions. Fort Lewis Pharmacy has 10 Star Customer Service!”

“My “home” CVS. I appreciate the quality the Pharmacist and pharmacy techs do, and the quality of service I always receive. Appointments for vaccines must be made on the store web site, a time consuming process. The technician who recently injected two vaccines for me was careful and gentle. However, I had to remind him of the paperwork verifying the vaccinations which I needed. The rest of the store has narrow aisles and is cluttered. Staffing, which I understand is a problem, is woeful. Employees are helpful, but always rushed. The customer self-checkout is time consuming and a joke. Accessible parking is plentiful with curb cuts.”

“Shiela, Brittney, and all of the pharmacy staff are awesome.I love to read reviews where people are so subjective to the true situation happening.People have zero clue as to the true level of work and dedication that these people have. The rules that are continuously changing causing even more work for the staff is crazy. The Pharma industry has changed so very much in the past three years and all of the changes have had serious impact on the staffs ability to get customers taken care of as quickly as they would like. And customers treat the staff like trash and as if they are subclass humans. Before you decide to bash this pharmacy take into account that :The board of pharmacy has changed the verification process again causing a process that used to take maybe ten minutes to potentially take over an hour.Insurance changes have caused a 2/3 increase in clients at pretty much every CVS because they took their contracts away from other pharmacy’s.Rules and regulations that CVS corporates has implemented has also added to the process time. All existing tasks that need done are still needing to be completed while staffing and hours are not increasing for the influx.Daily people attack the staff verbally for items that they have zero control over, such as insurance requirements or lack of refills, or shortages of specific drugs. These people are just employees and are humans like all of you. And unlike so many people in America, they decided to continue to work instead of sitting at home with excuses. Day after day they come in and are abused and overworked to take care of you..So yeah, put yourself in their shoes. Go to a place where you barely get one half hour break if you lucky for a full days work. Barely getting time to use the restroom.Having so much work that has to be done that it is overwhelming all while customers are beating you up.Do that, and then have the nerve to complain because you had to wait a little longer for your script. These people are saints and deserve your respect and admiration. Be thankful they are there, because if they weren’t you would be screwed.Be a decent human being..”

“New to va area. I was using cvs pharmacy on peters creek rd and every month it was issues trying to get meds refilled. Switched over to kroger pharmacy two months ago and I have no complaints. I wish i would have made the switch sooner. Very happy with kroger pharmacy and the employees!”

“After reading the negative reviews, I can identify with many of their experiences. However, in the end, most of my similar experiences were initially caused by myself or my doctor's office. The Walmart Pharmacy is very popular and therefore is subject to some very busy hours each day. Doctor's offices don't always send prescriptions instantly, and they do have laws and rules to follow. My personal experience over the years have been great.”
