EDIT: they now carry gas again, pricing is reasonable and marathon is a good quality gas.”
“The own wife is a great Lady that help you with a wonderful Smile and understand English very well as an Indian woman but her Husband donot understand English well some time trying to get over to him will make a difference in buying something in the Store. I fine myself going out of my way to go someplace else. But I will always buy from he wife and personally go in when she is there.”

“This Kroger has WONDERFUL staff! They are always friendly, professional, and helpful. We were through shopping at 845pm, but all registers were closed except self help. My wife and I are seniors and we had 2 full grocery carts. I asked a random worker named Star if we could have help checking out at a register. She tried to find someone to help but without success. She then proceeded to the closed register, logged in, and scanned 2 carts of groceries! Another worker named Derrick voluntarily came over and started bagging all of our items. We are so VERY appreciative of these two outstanding young Kroger workers who took the time providing quality customer service! Well done!”
“This Dollar General in Salem, Virginia is right off of I-81. Having been to hundreds of Dollar Generals over my reviewing period, this is among the best I've been into. This particular one is deceptively huge. It's been here for a very long time and though it does have a tight parking lot, the interior is spacious and just about as spotless as it can be. The staff on deck when I went were very nice as well.
This is a great store and is quite a uniquely designed one on the interior. Neat store!”

The Security officers , I only got James name , he came after the other gentleman that left this morning , but they were super helpful and friendly. No dismissive attitude, professional, just the way it should be , and 9/10 times we reciprocate that .
There are signs that say once you deliver or pickup to leave the property and do NOT park in staging area. Use at your own discretion, there’s a Loves and a One9 6 miles down road , better chances there of undisturbed sleep.
No issues at all here , 2 pallets , quick unload. Receiving door is 101, they will call you with a door , find somewhere to park when you check in. Very strict on hi-vis vest and shoes. Good luck!”
