“Sooo, back in March 2026 we stayed at the hotel next door and were told the Doubletree had great food and bar. We walked over and met Shila, the expert Bartender. Her warm, engaging personality makes you feel welcome from the moment you meet her. It was so memorable that 6 months later we are catching an early flight out of Richmond...and chose to pop over to the Doubletree for dinner. To our delight, Shila was working the bar. Our experience was even better than the first. She is so genuinely sweet, its like visiting family. I would hands down recommend popping in and having dinner or drinks.”

“I’m staying for work (long stay) this hotel is awesome. The staff up front has a great attitude and goes above and beyond to answer questions, along with helping out. They even (at request of a family member) hooked me up on my birthday. The kitchen staff is amazing. Yes they can be busy at times, patience goes along with that for them. The food is awesome. Yet to have a bad meal. A lot of options in the snack area also. Cleaning staff is super helpful also and does a very thorough job. I’m enjoying my time here for sure.”

“I unexpectedly had to book a room here after my flight got canceled late at night on a Friday. I was exhausted and frustrated and it was a pleasant surprise how quickly and seamlessly I got a room. They even provided a shuttle to and from the airport. They kindly let me have a late checkout at no extra charge. I appreciated the breakfast also running later than most hotels. All of the staff were very nice. The room was clean and very quiet and extremely comfortable. I hope I won’t need to stay there again but I’m glad to know this hotel is there in case I do. Cleaning crew did not start at the crack of dawn and even knocked at a reasonable morning hour to ask what time I was checking out. Highly recommend!”

“Location is perfect but what stood out the most is Mary of front desk...after a long day of traveling and series of unfortunate events. The last thing one would expect is southwest hotel booking messing up our reservation but they did so we couldn't get our room at the hotel. Mary on the other hand proved the true meaning of customer service. She helped, listened and explained everything for my understanding. She made sure that the reckless mistake of southwest hotel won't ruin our vacation. It's been a long time since I've encountered someone who really defines hospitality... thank you Mary so much for being the calm in my frustration. Because of you my family was able to have a restful vacation... I highly recommend this amazing lady. Not all hotels have someone who leaves positive impact on you.”

“Being a motel 6 this is probably been one of the best hotels I’ve been in the area even though the rooms are small. They have done nothing but treat my family and I with the upmost respect. The rooms are clean. The front desk and housekeeping are absolutely amazing.. and it’s right by the airport!! they have the best rates in the area”

“Let me be honest here. No, this is not the Marriott. Nor is it the best in the area. However, if you don't want to be bothered, or watched, or surrounded by noise and foolishness, or have to deal with 12, this is your spot. Quiet hole in the wall.”

“Stayed here the week of 12/14. The whole place was very clean, room was big, comfy king bed, and large shower. Housekeeping cleaned my room everyday. It was awesome coming back from a long business meetings and to just unwind in a clean room with a made bed. The staff were friendly and nice. The lobby smelled amazing. The breakfast always looked yummy, but I was always in a hurry in the mornings and didn't try it. I did hear other guest speak highly of the cleanliness and yummy breakfast. I thought it was a super comfy, clean place to stay!”
