“This is one of the nicest hotels I've stayed at. The front desk staff are very helpful, especially Anthony, who was able to answer any questions and even guide me to certain areas. The "Fall Line" has wonderful grilled salmon. Valet takes about 10-15 minutes, and you can request your vehicle online. Overall, I've enjoyed my experience.”

“Spent 2 nights here recently and I really enjoyed my stay. Comfy, cozy room with nice beds. The location is great. Bunch of good resturants to walk to for breakfast and dinner. There is only valet parking so plan that. Will be back when staying in the downtown area again!”

“This hotel is close to the convention center. The staff is very friendly and professional. The rooms are clean and there are a lot of restaurants within walking distance. I’ve stayed here twice while in town for an event. I traveled to Richmond by train. Upon my arrival I called the concierge desk and the shuttle service picked me up from the train station and also provided transportation to a restaurant within a mile from the hotel. There is an on-site hotel run restaurant and also an independently owned bar/restaurant on-site. The food and drinks at both were great.Rooms: Super clean.”

“Great historic hotel. Very few amenities (no pool, gym, jacuzzi). Rooms were beautiful. Restaurant food and bar were amazing. However, our booking said that breakfast was included. They didn't even offer breakfast. As in, no breakfast on sight. Just coffee. I would have stayed next door had I known this. Many others we met expressed the same issue.Walkability: In the heart of many stores and restaurants downtown.”

“I stayed here for a conference a few days ago. I checked in after 10pm. The check-in process went smoothly and I want to acknowledge the receptionist staff who were on duty Sunday night (April 14, 2024) for their exceptional service. When I arrived to my room, I began doing inspections and sanitizing. I noticed bodily fluid-like stains on the beds. I normally bring disposable sheets and pillowcases, but of course there wasn’t a better time to forget them lol. Anyway I expressed my concerns with the receptionist, who contacted the custodial supervisor onsite at the time. I want to applaud the supervisor, Mrs. Patricia, who was responsive and rectified the problem by bringing in new sheets (fresh out of the pack) and ensuring the room was up-to-par. Mrs. Patricia also made sure that I was accommodated for the mishap, to which the receptionist staff offered complimentary breakfast (although the conference I attended there provided the same). Nonetheless, my stay was pleasant overall.Rooms: The rooms have an outdated feel, as far as furniture and setup. However, the rooms gave a cozy feel.Nearby activities: There are some really good restaurants within a mile of the hotel. I didn’t walk to them, but the restaurants are in walking distance. There are also historic sites and shopping opportunities to view within walking distance.”

“I am not local to Richmond, but because my daughter lives down there and I love getting to spend time with her, I find myself searching for accommodations that will give my daughter and I (and sometimes my husband if he can get the time off) to enjoy some quality family time. My first time at this location was on November 7th, so that we could enjoy the Broadway traveling musical show SIX that was performing at the Altria Theater. Being a season subscription holder for these shows means I am on the lookout for a great place to stay that has great service, comfort, security for a reasonable price. I have tried several locations but feel that in comparison, this facility has everything I need to enjoy my time in Richmond, whether for business or leisure. On 11/7/2024, I first met Nia by phone, as I called about a parking question. When I walked into the facility, I met her in person and then also JASON. Nia checked me into my room, and then Jason helped me soon after for an issue that I was VERY THANKFUL for! He totally made me feel heard and also very important as a customer that I haven't felt in a very long time. What surprised me the most about this current stay on Tuesday, Feb 27, 2024, was that Jason welcomed me with remembering I had stayed before and checked me in with first rate care and service. He made me feel as if I was "home away from home" and his welcoming personality contributed to one of the best stays in Richmond yet! I already have my next reservation for my April Tina Turner Musical show! This location is great to many great restaurants, a nice walk from the Altria Theater, and close to museums, and VCU and all that Richmond has to offer! This will definitely be my go to place if I need to stay in Richmond!”

Now its a repeated visit I look to making yearly to and from anytime my family drives in the directly ..I love it hear and my children and husband are always sad to leave. “What a gem of a hotel, Quirk by name and quirky by looks in a great way. This is a true boutique style hotel, from booking to arriving, they're on top of things and want to make your stay as enjoyable as they can. To start, parking is on the street either on the side road or on Broad St and is free from 8 pm to 8 am, the entrance is on Broad St and you check in directly in front. That was a breeze and the room we had was on the 7th floor. A lovely room with a good size bathroom, a king size bed and a balcony. Staff are friendly, informative and make it a pleasure to stay there. It is in the art district of Richmond and restaurants are close by. You are a few minutes from the convention center, so it really is a good location. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would definitely book if going to Richmond again.”

“As a centralized location for all of the activities that I needed to take care of while here in Richmond, I would highly recommend this establishment as it is representing IHG in a quality way! The room is spacious and you can feel comfortable with the area as well. The Morning Breakfast is a bonus as you can get your day started with something in your stomach. So if you are doing some business and if you don't mind not staying downtown then give this hotel a chance!”

“Rooms are highly updated which was nice! Beds were super comfy and clean! Very updated, modern rooms. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Hotel in a good location near food and shops. I only stayed a night but definitely would stay again when in the area. Breakfast served every morning until 9am.”

“First of all, this location is amazing. It’s close to everything. The staff are all so friendly, especially the ladies working evenings. I fell in love with them. So sweet! The breakfast is fabulous! A nice hot breakfast. Rooms are great. Clean and up to date. The beds weren’t comfortable at all though. We all (husband and kids) slept poorly. The queen beds we had were all sagging in the middle and that’s really tough when you have two to a bed. The indoor pool was also freezing. But all in all I can’t complain because everything else was 10/10!”

“This place has good people nice people running it they're fixing up the rooms just as fast as they can those summer tearing them up just as fast as they fix them up but it's a good place to stay and know that you're not going to be crawling with”

“My family and I rented a room for 2 nights the room was decent. The only complaints I have is that the floor was FILTHY. It looked Clean but my son walked on it bare foot and it was DISGUSTING. All in all it was ok. The other complaint was the seedy looking people that were hanging out all types of night into the morning. But all in all it was an ok time”

“Not too much to complain about on my end. My GF and I have now stayed here twice and both times it nailed the few marks we look for: -Comfortable bed? Check-AC works? Check-Nice bathrooms? CheckAnd we love the fact this hotel has a parking garage. It has some natural wear and tear but I challenge anyone to find a hotel under $100 a night that doesn’t.”

“Website was not working for a room block, attempted to call the hotel multiple times and left a message with the events member. Never received a phone call back and poor customer service when I finally reached the events coordinator. By the time I did, the room block was sold out and would not offer the rate for the event despite my repeated effort.The events coordinator did not apologize or offer any alternative since their hotel is the one that has had me calling multiple times to try and make a simple room reservation.I have been a Hilton honors member for years and have never had an issue like this.”

“Everything perfect! I’m a world traveler and I already stayed in many Hampton Inn properties all over United States. I have to tell that this one was pretty impressive comparing the rates and large size of the room. Also the front desk Sarah was a such sweetheart and friendly.Highly recommended!”

“The hotel is less than 2 miles from the airport. The hotel was spacious and clean. The staff were friendly and welcoming.Tammy at the front desk was extremely nice. The Housekeeping supervisor Vanessa kindly granted my special request.If you are in Richmond near the airport please try this hotel!Food & drinks: I had dinner in the Bar. The bartender was very nice. The food was served hot and seasoned perfectly. The wine that I enjoyed was top-notch!Noteworthy details: Less than 10 minutes from the airport. Has a shuttle to and from the airport 24 hours a day.”

“So this hotel was nice and had everything we needed. Rooms were nice and very spacious. Breakfast was amazing, and we had plenty to eat. My only complaint was this hotel was older and needed some upgrade. Also, at times, you had to wait a while to catch an elevator. If there's a lot of people, use the stairs.”
