“Sometimes people go out of their way to be kind. Joanne is one of those people. She was incredibly helpful and kind in selecting foods for my home-bound friend and just knowing there are wonderful people out there, like Joanne, restored my faith in humanity. It has been a tough time for folks, between Covid and then the recent power outage and the snow storm. We all need to stick together, support our local businesses and just be kind. Thanks Joanne!!”

“I moved from near Bowling Green to Massoponax area in 2024 and this is my new local Food Lion. It's so much nicer than one of the other ones, (another was small but nice but didn't have as much variety), and well stocked and clean and neat. I really like many of the employees and more recently got help in Produce when an item I buy regularly was out of stock for awhile.”

“They are understaffed and over worked. The ladies are nice but some will fight with you about coupons. Store isn't well organized and there are carts around that make it difficult to shop around.”

“I'm from Baltimore MD and I've stopped in 208 Variety Store a few times while traveling to the power plant for work. All I can say is AWESOME FOOD AND VERY FRIENDLY STAFF! So if your in the area do your self a favor stop and give it a try. I promise you won't be disappointed.”
