“Rich helped me purchase a costume frame for my son's college diploma. He provided excellent service. Excellent knowledge of their current inventory and what matterials might require a long wait due to availability. He gave excellent guidance when it came to determining all the dimensions af the materials that would look best and the colors that would look best. I received the finished framing a little early, which was great, and the frame/boarder around the diploma came put better than I expected it would look. Thanks for all the help Rich!”
“Wonderful art gallery with so many beautiful paintings and drawings to enjoy. I purchased a piece painted by Lydia Johorek last month that I feel in love with. Incredibly talented local artists featured and a fun place to browse.”
“Excellent experience! Natalie took extra care and time to ensure I had the best glass type and frame color I was looking for to give a friend her wedding photo. The photo looks stunning against the gold wood color and is easy to see without too much reflection. I had a chance to enjoy the studios and chat with an artist before leaving. Got a call within a month that everything was ready for pickup and it was exactly as described. Will be returning for future photos and also to enjoy the art work at the studios.”
“Absolutely stellar. The woman who helped me was very kind and gave me her best possible estimates and options, and even with some flexibility if I wanted to do some parts "DIY". Very helpful, I fully recommend this shop!”
“If you're in Old Town Alexandria - plan to visit. Besides scheduled events (like open mic night) the gallery has some unusual and interesting pieces.
Prices are reasonable (YMMV) especially for the jewelry & mixed media items. Gallery has around 30+ artists with different styles & works besides painting.
Kudos to the owner (presenter) - she gives a lot of about presented artists.”
“- this place has some really cool items for sale. A lot of different types of art and a variety of styles.
- staff were friendly and helpful.
- prices range depending on the item you're looking for.
- place was clean and organized.
- parking in the area in general is a bit hard depending on the time and events in the area.
- overall a cool place to check out.
- id recommend this place.”
“10 stars if I could!Excellent artworks. Fun gallery openings, everyone is sociable and talented. A great range of hand crafted items to choose from also. Plenty of workshops as well, well attended”
“Found this nice little gallery on Google maps and decided to visit on a Saturday. They were having a show at the time so didn't have many works on display, so the owner suggested us to look on their website. The website has a very large selection of artworks. We decided to get something for our living room wall from the website and narrowed down to an artist's painting. Her paintings size were a bit smaller than we'd like, but then the gallery owner told us that they also do commission work and we can ask for a specific painting size and add other stuff like different colors! We were a bit nervous about the whole customization thing but the owner was really nice and went through the whole process with us, also checking in once in a while to make sure we got exactly what we need. We also had the painting frame customized, and the painting was delivered to our door in a few weeks. It was a very unique and special experience for us and we'll be coming back for more art in the future!”
“A wonderful theater venue in the DMV! Only frustration is the lack of signage on campus, which made it hard to find the theater. Other than that, extremely cool space!”
“Absolutely fabulous experience. Brought in an old, beaten-up frame and a high-res picture file -- George printed a beautiful giclée on canvas and framers put it together seamlessly. After a negative experience at another print shop where they condescendingly and incorrectly told me they couldn't make this piece happen, KH brought it to life. Thank you!!!!!”

“I love toolbox Pilates!!! I’ve taken 4 beginner reformer classes now and it’s so much fun and a good challenge. I wish the instructors were doing to exercises along side you, but they’re very good at cueing. The space is just absolutely gorgeous. Love it!!”
“As a workhouse dabbler I attended events throughout the entire year.
*The theatre is a hidden gem with quite a bit of up and coming pre professional actors. Check out the show options, they always seem to try one "kid" show a year.
*Art galleries events are fun to attend once a year. Pick one that sounds like your personality.
*They are always expanding, growing, and changing. Which can cause growing pains. But the venue is historical, and budget is based on a lot of different factors.
*If they still have the farmers market it was fantastic, and the popcorn guy was delicious.”
“Found it recently! It's a very nice place to walk around and browse. The place has a lot to offer, and it's a good idea to scan the collection. I'd also recommend to have a vague idea of what you're looking for before stepping in if you're looking to buy. The guy working there is very pleasant, and I'd come by again!”
“This is such a cool space hiding under Dupont Circle! Came here for the Common Ground / Common Future exhibit where a bunch of local photographers had works on display. I look forward to seeing more shows here! Worth it just to drop in a see the street art around the perimeter.”

“I’ve had about 5 large things framed here and every time it’s beautiful. I’ve brought prints that have holes or fold lines and they manage to work around them and bring the life back out of the art. Highly recommend. Shop Local!”

“This was our first time at this restaurant. It was a quiet evening with only one server. While he was efficient, the service was a little slow but not enough to make a huge difference in our opinion of the venue. We will come back again.”
“This is a fun auction house with a wide variety of items from Beanie Babies to WW1 Trench Knives. Best of all, it's local(ish) to me! I too was a victim of ProxiBid's f...oul up, it wasn't Quinn's fault and I'm glad they extended it, I was outbid on a couple items I'd won before, but I won a bunch I was closed out of by Proxibid's screw-up. I freaking LOVE their Wed Auctions!:D”
“It's hard to know who to trust with your new, expensive artwork - I went to a couple of framing stores and was very relieved when I met the lovely people at Italo Frame.
I knew I could trust them immediately and they did a great job with my custom framing job! I even asked for some atypical design requests and they brought my vision to life. Thank you, will be back!”
