“We did a one night stay with the getaway package for pets.
The hosts greeted us and made us feel welcomed to stay here. Checking was very easy. The room was clean and plenty of hot water.
Our 2 large huskies greeted the front of desk crew every time we walked by and they ended up saying hello to them everytime.
Breakfast was plentiful with a full array of food and coffee.
It is located right off the highway and there are plenty of restaurants to enjoy a walk to.
This hotel is def large dog friendly and we appreciate that and would stay again without hesitation.

“The management of this establishment has a great deal of which to be proud. Staff can have a make or break impact on the guest experience. Every person I encountered in my stay was professional, polite and attentive.
The facility/rooms are clean, well maintained and equipped with good quality personal care products/in room coffee.
The added touch of complimentary happy hour was unexpected and appreciated.
The true brilliance in all of this is that it demonstrates quality can be delivered at an affordable price to working class guests. We all deserve to be treated with respect and dignity - not just the billionaire class who would probably snicker at my 5 star review. It isn’t a luxe experience- it is a warm comfortable experience with quality people who care.”
“Stayed here for a group event for work. Ebony and other staff were polite kind and very helpful! Someone in our party had an AC not working and we’re promptly moved/upgraded! About a half hour drive from downtown DC without traffic, and across the street from a mall/restaurants. You’re also next to the on ramp for the highway.”
“A quiet respite in a maddening DC neighborhood is made special by this young lady. Elena as I found out without her knowing is a fixture here. Do yourself a favor and come for the location but stay because of her.”

“Nice clean hotel with nice amenities and excellent staff. We had asked for towels on the off day of housekeeping and came back to our beds made and all the towels we had asked for. The only downside is you have to pay for parking.”
“Older hotel but the rooms were fresh and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was hot and ready. One of the two elevators was not working and one of the doors would not open using the room key. Overall, pretty minor . Location was great! Mall across the highway with plenty of food selections and any items we may have needed while we were there.”
“location is perfect for those who need access to all major highways and Amtrak service. breakfast good, many options and rooms were clean. I woukd use this hotel again when in the Virginia area.”

“I can’t say enough wonderful things about the staff at this Marriott. After accidentally leaving my purse behind, their team went above and beyond to help me during what could have been a very stressful situation.
Andrea is an absolute star—she was the one who spotted my purse at the breakfast table and immediately secured it. Her honesty and attention to detail truly reflect the integrity of this property. Sara, Lori, and Sharon were incredibly patient and kind, even as I called almost daily trying to track things down. When we realized UPS was the delay, they stayed on top of it until it finally arrived—and I now have my pocketbook back!
My husband is a Lifetime Platinum Marriott member, and experiences like this are exactly why we remain loyal to the brand. This team turned a potential nightmare into a reminder of what exceptional hospitality looks like.
