She gave me the estimate and I came back next day with down payment . Dropped it off this past Tuesday morning she said 7-10 days. I was surprised only took 2 days. It was great and looks like a new car again. I’m so happy. Customer service is always important. And she is the best from a warm smile when you walk in and always there to help. Service is great. I recommend this body and paint shop. FYI they have been in business since 1972.”

“Pretty sure I'll always be obsessed with my limited edition purple haze car wrap. I get stopped almost every day by people complimenting my car, asking me about the color, and where I got it done. EVW knocked it out of the park with their work! “We had three major concerns when following a friend's advice and approaching Platinum Auto Body in Sterling Virginia for repairs. In a heavy rainstorm a tree had fallen in our path and the car hit the top limbs and branches on the passenger side front at 35 mph. Most importantly, Platinum's estimate for out of pocket costs was much lower than expected, and the final bill was per that estimate with no last minute surprises. Secondly, we expected that the job would take about 2 weeks. Wrong. How about 4 days ! Finally, the quality of the work was excellent - no visible signs of any damage. Both the owner and the driver of the car was delighted. We highly recommend Platinum - very, very professional and high quality. We also highly recommend Google maps. The location is not overwhelmed with an abundance of street signs. Check out Google maps before seeking out this 5 star treasure.”
“I normally do not post reviews, but this experience absolutely deserves one.
Back in January, about a week after our snow/ice storm, I was driving behind another vehicle in my Tesla when a massive sheet of ice flew off the roof of the car in front of me and slammed into the front passenger side of my vehicle. The damage was significant — $10k+ worth of damage. A cracked bumper, smashed headlight, smashed fog light, a broken windshield, damage to the fender, and the trim around the wheel well was ripped off. It was a mess.
The good news was that I was 100% not at fault. The bad news was that I now had to deal with someone else’s insurance and go through tprocess. Before the accident, my Tesla was in mint condition — no scratches, no dents, nothing. It looked brand new, and I wanted it returned to that same condition.
I started researching body shops that were Tesla-authorized and came across D&V Autobody Masters. That’s when I was connected with Mario, and I can honestly say he was fantastic throughout the entire process.
Getting the insurance company to approve everything that needed to be repaired was a complete uphill battle. Mario stayed on top of them, the entire time. He kept me in the loop every step of the way, and we spoke once or twice a week. At the end of each week, he would send a detailed summary email explaining exactly where things stood. That level of communication alone was incredibly helpful.
What really stood out to me was that Mario went to bat for me with the insurance company. He made sure I didn’t have to play the middleman between the body shop and the insurance adjusters. He handled those conversations directly and fought to make sure the repairs were done correctly. In the event, that I did need to speak to them or make a call, he told me what I needed to ask for and why I should be the one to call.
The insurance company initially wanted to only cover aftermarket parts. This didn’t sit right with me considering my car didn’t have any aftermarket parts to begin with. This is where Mario really stood his ground. Mario pushed back against multiple “claims agents” telling them what they are offering just isn’t good enough and worked hard to ensure the car was repaired using Tesla-manufactured parts, which is exactly what should happen when a vehicle like this is repaired.
Yes, the process took longer than I would have liked, but that delay wasn’t because of the shop — it was because of the back-and-forth with the insurance company. Mario never gave up and stayed committed to making sure the car left the shop looking as good as — if not better - than it did before the accident.
I hate dealing with insurance companies. I find the whole process extremely frustrating. I was ready to blow a gasket a few times that I did have to speak with them, But having someone like Mario on the front line made all the difference.
I would absolutely recommend D&V Autobody Masters, and if you have the chance to work with Mario, you’ll be in great hands.
If I ever find myself needing a body shop again in the future, Mario will be my first call.”

“I've used Mach V only a few times so far, but they have exceeded my expectations both times. Most recent visit was to remove and remount a set of tires onto my antique sports car wheels. The finish on the powdercoated wheels were 100% scratch/mark free before the job, and we're still like that after job was done. So that's a win! They did a good clean job, and for less $ than even the local chain place wanted. I'll be back!
