1735 State Rte 693, TazewellWe were seated quickly close to closing time. All service was just great. Orders were correct, presentation was good, and bill was appropriate.
BBQ was excellent, as was slaw. Baked potatoes were over cooked, probably as a result of our timing. Chicken was unavailable, likely same reason. I don’t care for sugar in beans, but they were well prepared. The sauces I sampled were all good, but vinegar base was excellent.
Property was nice and clean, well cared for. Salt shaker collection was extensive. Massive numbers of put-a-bouts for visual stimulation. The visit was a great way to top off a beautiful fall afternoon. And, this skips the Homestead ice cream, which is the absolute best. Great place all around.
