1907 Park Vista Rd, West JeffersonTruly a lovely, iconic roadside motor lodge—a wonderful step back in time with all the modern conveniences and beautifully remodeled rooms. The proximity to the Blue Ridge Parkway was a huge plus!
We loved the easy self check-in, the covered porch with comfortable Adirondack chairs, and the peaceful mountain views. It was the perfect place to relax. We also had dinner at the restaurant and can highly recommend the fresh, locally sourced burger. Sadly, the General Store had already closed for the day, but we'll plan better on our next visit.
Communication from the host was prompt, thorough, and helpful throughout our stay.
We'll definitely be back!
Note: The only minor inconvenience was that there wasn't ice available on-site. However, the restaurant staff happily provided us with a small bag, which we greatly appreciated

My boyfriend and I went last year to see Little Horse then later on in year we came back to see The Cosmic Hillbilly Experience! Two Great bands! Looking forward to coming back! I will definitely be recommending this place and the bands!

Bohemia Coffee House
5 N Jefferson Ave, West JeffersonAfter having lunch nearby, my husband wanted coffee. We have been to West Jefferson multiple times, but somehow I have missed this coffee house!
I am so glad we found this gem! The coffee house has such a welcoming atmosphere. I love all of the couches!

Red Dog Bar & Bistro
203 E 1st St, West JeffersonYesterday was really hot, and we had originally planned on eating somewhere else. Since we had our dog with us, outdoor seating was a must, and the first spot just didn’t have a great setup.
We randomly parked beside this restaurant and noticed their outdoor patio, which looked absolutely inviting. It was shaded, relaxing, and best of all, not crowded.
My wife had the burger and fries, and the burger was actually cooked to the temperature she ordered and seasoned really well. I had a toasted chicken salad sandwich, which was excellent. They also made me an amaretto sour, which was fairly priced and hit the spot.
Overall, we would 100% go back. The servers were fast and efficient, everyone was extremely friendly, and they were especially kind to our pup. That always wins us over.
