I have been using this veterinarian for years, since he opened. Diane has been there since opening. I always feel relief when I show up with a sick puppy and I see her. She has comforted me through deaths of my pets and reassured me when I go in with a new animal.

They have indoor and outdoor seating- probably best for smaller groups. You order at the counter then seat yourself, so grab a menu from the counter right when you get in the door, because there are a lot of choices. The menu has lots of sweet and savory breakfast, brunch and lunch options, and the desserts are stunningly beautiful and delicious.

283 E Main St, AbingdonDelicious food. The blue cheese wedge was outstanding and the ribeye was also just as good. $50 for all that, a soda, and a cup of soup is crazy. In a major city that’s easily a $100+ meal. Highly recommend coming here. Probably the best dinner in town.

1 Heartwood Cir, AbingdonOn a road trip from Maine to Texas, and all the way through Virginia we stopped everywhere we could looking for Virginia is for lovers tshirts and NOBODY had them. This was the last place we checked, after almost giving up, 20 minutes before the closed. We searched all over to no avail. In the last space we walked through we spotted a hat that had the logo on it, and then we found the shirt!! That was the only reason we went, but as we raced through the building, it seemed really cool!!
