“15 minutes from our destination to Busch Gardens, with 2 teenagers in tow, I discovered my tire was flat. I drove into the parking lot to this store, not sure what to do as we traveled from Pa. It was hours and we were so close to the park. I went inside to ask if I should call local help and the clerk asked to see my tire. I had a full spare and so he changed it there on the spot. No hesitation. We were there for maybe 20 mins and on our way. It could've been a 2 hour or more ordeal or just a mess but he offered to change it and that was that. I can't thank him enough! After hours on those ridiculous highways, so close to the park and 2 teenagers... he was a godsend and it assures me that good people still do exist.”
“I like TJ's, but the parking lot is a nightmare!! I was always afraid of getting into an accident there, and today it happened. At least I wasn't in the car. It was parked in the lot. Fair prices, and lots of choices on healthy foods that you cannot find other places.
Most of the store associates are friendly, and happy to assist you. Most of the management staff is as well. Accolades to truly special staff: Patty, Holly, and Mary who are ALWAYS smiling and FRIENDLY. This is SO HARD to do every day when you just might not be in the mood, and you have to "fake it 'til you make it." So thank you guys for an extraordinary job! Well done! :-D”
“Mr. PJ definitely had patience with me. I ended up having to do three transactions in one. And he was so patient and gentle with the situation that it didn’t make me feel weird and I appreciate that. Especially as a single mom who has to use things like EBT plus wic plus my regular card to do the transaction. I totally appreciate him not making me feel bad about it. He was like it’s OK it’s totally fine. He did The transaction so fast nobody even noticed it. He deserves a raise ! Thank you Mr.PJ”

“The store is great but the only complaint I have it with the hot chicken bar that sells popcorn chicken. They were very slow and would basically ignore you standing there waiting for service. I I chose to walk away but hear it's very tasty though. I went with fresh rolled sushi next to them which was delicious.”
“We love Aldi's prices! I wish they carried Organic produce and bigger selection of milks/plant milks and frozen foods. It would be the perfect little store then.”

“Tiny, old-school store in a somewhat-hidden strip mall with one of the best selections of European products I've ever seen. I'm not a Virginia resident and usually only get to visit once a year when I'm on vacation to Williamsburg, but I always make sure to drop in and buy my mom some of her favorite Polish cookies and a bottle of Kvass. Hoping to have a bit longer this time and take a look at their deli and fish counters this year.”

“Whether you want a "food souvenir " from Virginia or just something to make a special meal using Virginia products, Virginia Gourmet has a wide variety of items to choose from. All reasonably priced. Many are things you wouldn't ordinarily come across when visiting the area and aren't apt to be in any big box store. A real find!”

“I just had to run and grab my daughters medication after an urgent care visit. Vickie and mindy made sure to get her the meds before they went on break. They did not have todo this but they did and I was so very grateful. They are always very attentive and explain things so well! I am so thankful for the pharmacy here!!! I hope these two get a raise! Also Tony at check out was so kind and helpful! The guy at starbucks was kind and quick as well! Overall experience was amazing!!! We are home resting and doing well because these amazing employees went above and beyond! God bless your store!!!”

“A grocery experience you won't forget! All the fresh, local, and organic produce you'd want, combined with all the fancy national stuff you'd only be able to find at larger health food stores. The staff is always super friendly, the hot bar has diverse options, and it's an excellent place to dine with your hot and cold bar items! My wife and I make an effort each time we're in town to stop here, grab some lunch, hang out, and enjoy the store's calming presence!”
“What a great store! I wish there were one in Newport News. A nice associate told me there will be one in Suffolk soon so I may have to check that out. We grabbed fried chicken to go- and yes if you thought Farm Fresh was good... try this! Lots of cool brands and offerings you can't find at other grocery stores. Nice pharmacy area and was cool to see fresh soap like at Whole Foods there. I highly recommend this store as they seemed to have very fresh items and a great variety.”
