“I shop here all of the time, and I also get my weekly grocery pick up from here. Hands down one of the best food lions, we live in Newport News and I work in Williamsburg-despite having a lot of food lions in Newport News, we still pick up from here. The quick service and the good attitudes you’re met with make it all worth it. I wanted to particularly shine a light on Izriel! He is always so fast to get my order out, remembers that I prefer the groceries go in the back seat, and is always so pleasant and helpful if I have a question or just want to talk for a second. It’s rare that I have to wait for longer than 10 minutes to get my groceries brought out, but when it’s Izriel on it, I don’t even wait for five minutes, he is on it! Just wanted to show some love for the place that helps keep my family fed. Thank you!”
“Publix in Williamsburg is a nice clean store, more similar to a Kroger. Not nearly as nice as a Wegmans, but their selection was adequate, prices somewhat reasonable with their shoppers club savings, and all of the staff was polite and helpful! My first visit ever to a Publix, so I was mildly disappointed. My favorite stores back home in Tidewater, Virginia are Wegmans and The Fresh Market. I also like Harris Teeter and Aldi, though I shop at those less frequently.”
“This store has almost everything you need. The store is laid out in a convenient well planned way with isles being easy to maneuver. Items are easy to find. They are always having great sales and the savings are on par. The staff are nice and knowledgeable about items on the shelves .The store is clean and welcoming.”
“Tiny, old-school store in a somewhat-hidden strip mall with one of the best selections of European products I've ever seen. I'm not a Virginia resident and usually only get to visit once a year when I'm on vacation to Williamsburg, but I always make sure to drop in and buy my mom some of her favorite Polish cookies and a bottle of Kvass. Hoping to have a bit longer this time and take a look at their deli and fish counters this year.”
“Aldi has become our go to grocery store in today's economy. They have quality products at reasonable prices. We always go through self checkout as there is only one cashier on duty. The young man today seemed incredibly personable. (Yes I was eavesdropping.) The only reason I can't give this location 5 stars is that other than the cashier I can rarely find a human on the sales floor when I need help. Once or twice when we did track someone down they seemed put upon by having to interface with us”
“Lightfoot Marketplace has several good places/stores. These flowers are from Harris Teeter. There's also Jersey Mike's, Hungry Joe's, Teryaki Madness to eat at. Allure Nail Spa for your manicures and pedicures. A Virginia ABC store and an Urgent Care for your illness/injuries.”
“One of the best subs we have ever had. We ate off that thing for 3 days. The guy making them did a really good job, literally perfect amount of everything on it and when he wasn't sure, he asked. The only down side is that he is very very slow. I did pre order my food and it wasn't ready yet when I got there so he just let me call it out instead of reading off the paper. So just plan ahead if you're getting a sub, they are so worth it. Oh and they are only $6.99 on Fridays.”
“Harris Teeter is a clean and modern market with quality produce, meats, seafood, deli and bakery. It also sells hot prepared foods and has a salad bar as well. Excellent pharmacy in house with convenient drive thru as well. Large parking area.”

“Stopped here instead of fast food boy I'm glad I did. I had a salmon BLT with arugula salad cooked just the way I liked it with an excellent salad on the side highly recommend.”
“Thank you to the people who make the sushi, so well done, so beautiful and tasty, thank you thank you. the yellowfin tuna tataki roll is my favorite and I normally am not a fan of raw tuna. Also I love the nut butters station, and coffee station. I typically only come for a few things bc items can add up quick but it’s my favorite place, very comfortable and inviting atmosphere.”
“It is always a reliable stop when we need to grab a few essentials. This particular location is clean, well organized, and easy to navigate. The shelves are usually well stocked with a wide variety of items from household supplies and snacks to seasonal decor and basic groceries. The staff is friendly and helpful, and checkout is typically quick and easy. It’s especially convenient for quick trips when we don't want to go into a big box store. Overall, it's a great neighborhood store that makes everyday shopping simple and affordable.”

“I have gone to this food lion for years and have always had a good experience here. Especially recently, the folks who work at the self checkout line are helpful. I often also do Food Lion To Go orders and they are prompt and kind when bringing the order out. I have never had issues with waiting long and I do orders almost on a weekly basis. “I love Brad and his family!!! I live on the street over and it’s my go to for most items!! If I can avoid food lion and Wawa and go in to see Brad and the crew, I will every single time! The people they deal with at times are difficult and they still choose to treat them with kindness and respect, far more than what I’d do ? Point is regardless if you are a lawyer, police officer, teacher or just a drunk trying to gamble, you’ll be treated with the same amount of love!!! Support your local corner store and go to Terrace!!!!!”

“What a great store! I wish there were one in Newport News. A nice associate told me there will be one in Suffolk soon so I may have to check that out. We grabbed fried chicken to go- and yes if you thought Farm Fresh was good... try this! Lots of cool brands and offerings you can't find at other grocery stores. Nice pharmacy area and was cool to see fresh soap like at Whole Foods there. I highly recommend this store as they seemed to have very fresh items and a great variety.”
“I needed to grab a few items before heading back to my room for the night and I sought out a Target to go to. I'm not sure when this one was built in the area, but it looks to be on the newer side. Walking in it was welcoming and made it feel like it was going to be a simple stop. I walked to where the items were that I knew I was going to need. The one item that I was definitely looking for was an air freshener. I was happy to see that not only did they have them in stock, but many to choose from. Unlike other stores of the caliber. The biggest hold up here was the registers. Most people are ushered to the self checkouts. There were not many regular checkouts open. Not everybody knows how to use the self checkouts, so the ushering of the people here kind of made a bottleneck and backup.”

“This new Bodega has everything in it. Cakes, ice cream. Biblical merchandise, seasonings, cookies, candy, food, frozen food, gas whatever you need is in the store it's clean. It's well managed and the people are great”

“I have never been to a Walmart that is like a quickie mart. But this Walmart was just groceries. We were able to get everything we needed at the great Walmart prices. I can't believe I am saying this but the employees were extremely friendly. Our cashier even gave us suggestions on restaurants and local beaches. It was a rare but good experience.”
“I had a great experience at this gas station. The place is very well-maintained, and the bathrooms are extremely clean, which is something I really appreciate when traveling. They also have a top-notch drink selection with plenty of options to choose from, whether you’re looking for something refreshing or a quick energy boost. On top of that, the customer service is very friendly and welcoming, making the visit even better.
