“Were in VA on vaca for my step daughters 11th bday. I ordered a cake for her which was a strawberry marble cake. It was so delicious, like a strawberry shortcake with diced strawberries. We also have a family member whos gluten free, they offer a good cake selection for that also. We will return, thank you much!”
“I shop here all of the time, and I also get my weekly grocery pick up from here. Hands down one of the best food lions, we live in Newport News and I work in Williamsburg-despite having a lot of food lions in Newport News, we still pick up from here. The quick service and the good attitudes you’re met with make it all worth it. I wanted to particularly shine a light on Izriel! He is always so fast to get my order out, remembers that I prefer the groceries go in the back seat, and is always so pleasant and helpful if I have a question or just want to talk for a second. It’s rare that I have to wait for longer than 10 minutes to get my groceries brought out, but when it’s Izriel on it, I don’t even wait for five minutes, he is on it! Just wanted to show some love for the place that helps keep my family fed. Thank you!”
“Lightfoot Marketplace has several good places/stores. These flowers are from Harris Teeter. There's also Jersey Mike's, Hungry Joe's, Teryaki Madness to eat at. Allure Nail Spa for your manicures and pedicures. A Virginia ABC store and an Urgent Care for your illness/injuries.”
“Aldi has become our go to grocery store in today's economy. They have quality products at reasonable prices. We always go through self checkout as there is only one cashier on duty. The young man today seemed incredibly personable. (Yes I was eavesdropping.) The only reason I can't give this location 5 stars is that other than the cashier I can rarely find a human on the sales floor when I need help. Once or twice when we did track someone down they seemed put upon by having to interface with us”
“Tiny, old-school store in a somewhat-hidden strip mall with one of the best selections of European products I've ever seen. I'm not a Virginia resident and usually only get to visit once a year when I'm on vacation to Williamsburg, but I always make sure to drop in and buy my mom some of her favorite Polish cookies and a bottle of Kvass. Hoping to have a bit longer this time and take a look at their deli and fish counters this year.”

He was extremely patient and helpful while assisting me with buying Powerball tickets. He took the time to answer my questions and made the process quick and easy. “This store has almost everything you need. The store is laid out in a convenient well planned way with isles being easy to maneuver. Items are easy to find. They are always having great sales and the savings are on par. The staff are nice and knowledgeable about items on the shelves .The store is clean and welcoming.”
“Great quality food, in a upscale and desirable location. Good deals if you're a coupon person. Checkout options were not plentiful and logistics/lines were annoying if not upsetting from the stress of the employees/customers. Otherwise a great experience.”
“Harris Teeter is a clean and modern market with quality produce, meats, seafood, deli and bakery. It also sells hot prepared foods and has a salad bar as well. Excellent pharmacy in house with convenient drive thru as well. Large parking area.”
“I love Brad and his family!!! I live on the street over and it’s my go to for most items!! If I can avoid food lion and Wawa and go in to see Brad and the crew, I will every single time! The people they deal with at times are difficult and they still choose to treat them with kindness and respect, far more than what I’d do ? Point is regardless if you are a lawyer, police officer, teacher or just a drunk trying to gamble, you’ll be treated with the same amount of love!!! Support your local corner store and go to Terrace!!!!!”
“The butchers and the people who work the meat/seafood counter are soooo helpful. Today I didn’t see my favorite chicken sausages so I ask if they had any in “the back”. I wish I had asked for his name, but he went and got a huge box of frozen chicken sausages and spent at least 10 minutes breaking them up so I could get my 2 lbs.
He was so nice about it that I would have bought more if I had the room in my freezer.
It’s usually a very good experience here but some days they really do go above and beyond to make the customer happy. Very glad that this store is near me !!”
“What a great store! I wish there were one in Newport News. A nice associate told me there will be one in Suffolk soon so I may have to check that out. We grabbed fried chicken to go- and yes if you thought Farm Fresh was good... try this! Lots of cool brands and offerings you can't find at other grocery stores. Nice pharmacy area and was cool to see fresh soap like at Whole Foods there. I highly recommend this store as they seemed to have very fresh items and a great variety.”
“I’m reviewing the bakery only; I ordered my daughter’s birthday cake here and we loved it! The young lady did an amazing job! It was delicious and suited our theme perfectly! We will definitely order more cakes from this Walmart! Thank you guys so much!

“This new Bodega has everything in it. Cakes, ice cream. Biblical merchandise, seasonings, cookies, candy, food, frozen food, gas whatever you need is in the store it's clean. It's well managed and the people are great”
“Got a breakfast sandwich here named “Call 911” and it was great. All food is made to order and fast. Staff was nice, warned me about the incoming need for a nap after I ate the sandwich. I can feel they were telling the truth! Would recommend.”

“I have gone to this food lion for years and have always had a good experience here. Especially recently, the folks who work at the self checkout line are helpful. I often also do Food Lion To Go orders and they are prompt and kind when bringing the order out. I have never had issues with waiting long and I do orders almost on a weekly basis. Thank you JYP Food Lion team!”
