“Good club retail where you can find most of your favorite brands at bulk discount prices verses Walmart. Usually very busy and hard to check out in the lines. Scan and go on the Sam’s Club App is a faster method and lets you check out and leave faster. Cafe is now only order through app which is convenient but difficult if you are relying on a phone device. Good location. Parking can be hard to get a close spot though. Overall a good experience.”

  13. Dollar General - 11490 W Lynchburg Salem Turnpike

11490 W Lynchburg Salem Turnpike, Montvale VA 24122

    2.4 Poor 70 reviews

“I like this $ General because its conveniently located in Montvale for if you just need to run and grab a few things and don't want to have to run all the way to Bedford or Bonsack Walmart just for a couple of items. They have a good selection of products as well. Pretty much anything that u could possibly need on a regular day, they have at a reasonable price. I also love their " Dot Deals", where a certain color dot is half off or BOGO, especially on the toys during X~Mas time. I like to buy my son items other places than just Wal-Mart so he has a variety of toys and not just the same old stuff over and over that Walmart has. Don't get me wrong, I like Walmarts toys as well, but once u have bought everything that is in your child's age range, gender and interests, they don't really get new stuff in, where as $ General does, and especially during X~Mas time.”

Lynn was extremely helpful and knowledgeable of where I could locate everything that I needed. I was in a hurry so she assisted me so I could find things that I needed in a timely manner. Lynn was was so pleasant, helpful and kind and as a faithful Dollar General customer, I was very impressed on how neat and clean this store was. I actually complimented her on on the organization and cleanliness of this store, based on the bad experiences at other stores.Just before I left we had a quick chat. She is an extremely responsible manager and cares about the store and the customers. Dollar general needs more people Lynn!!”
