“As a regular of the hotel it is an honor to give my review of my home away from home. It's a beautiful hotel with a personable and classy staff that has very little turnover. The rooms are all being renovated. Almost all rooms done I hear. I really love the renovation but I loved the classic also :).. Obviously the overall heart and warmth of the Hotel Roanoke remains the same. The front and outside still the same beauty of Roanoke I love to see every time I make it to town. The lively bar in the lobby has great drinks and food at night, however my favorite food comes in the morning at their breakfast. See you soon Hotel Roanoke.”
“Josh has been nothing short of accommodating during my long-term stay at Affordable Corporate Suites. I’ve felt welcomed since the day I arrived, and every question or concern has been handled promptly and professionally. The location is nice and quiet as well. Based on the level of service I’ve received, I would highly recommend this location.”
“Allison and Gricelda were very welcoming and helpful. Whenever I needed help with something Allison was prompt in resolving the issue, and Gricelda took so much stress off of me from how well she took care of me and cleaned my room weekly! Very friendly! The location is also very close to all the food places, grocery stores, and gas stations you could need, as well as close to the clinics and hospitals if you're travel nursing. On site laundry was also very useful! If I travel in that area again I would gladly rebook with them.”
“We had an issue with the pricing of the room. The desk clerk could not find the same rate that we found on hilden.com so we had to stand there and book it through Hilton not a third-party app in order to get the better rate
Her room needs a little maintenance but otherwise a pleasant experience”
“The check-in process was smooth. The rooms are spacious enough for a family of 4.
The outdoor patio area has a hot tub, nice size pool and a grill, nixr fitness center and basketball hoop outside. You can always count on a great breakfast at a Residence.”
“I cannot tell you what this family means to me! Six months ago I found out my aunt who lives in Roanoke was in the hospital.. fast-forward I am now her healthcare power attorney and live three hours away. That said I have been to Roanoke many many times (always staying here) and your staff at Marriott makes me feel like I am family! They greet me with smiles and are always so compassionate and ask about my aunt every visit. They go over and beyond and make sure my room is close to the elevator, having the fire pit lit, telling me about long term care facilities in the area that I should research, knowing how I like my coffee, or having beers ready for me with a smile on their face when I walk up to the bar. They really make my stressful trips so much more bearable when I get back to my safe place because of their love and compassion! Thank you - you know who you are! I pray for you too!”
“Not far from I-81, good location with plenty of shopping & restaurants near. Front desk friendly and efficient. Room clean. Ice machine on the floor! Breakfast is included.
I have stayed at a terrible UN-Comfort Inn ( Baltimore) but decided to give Comfort Inn another chance! Glad I did!”

“I don't know. Some of the reviews I read seemed a bit harsh. This is an above average hotel. While there are some general maintenance and cleanliness issues, overall, it's pretty good. The pool was nice and warm, and that was appreciated by my kids. Staff at the front desk was pleasant and accommodating.
I'm a World of Hyatt Globalist, and believe me, I've stayed at some very disappointing hotels. This one isn't fantastic, but it's (as I said already) pretty good.
The restaurant choices nearby are pretty good, too.”

“This may not be the fanciest hotel, but it is very cost effective for the area. Right near everything, including the bus line. The staff are fantastic. I booked for a friend from afar and it was very easy and they allowed for a late checkout with no issues.”
“It's a great place to stay a few days without drama and noise.Quiet no one bothers you ..and a laid bk place.. Owners are very nice and respectful people.And will refer to others to go there.”
“It's affordable and all you're doing is sleeping and showering. Friendly check in. Breakfast was dismal. Powdered eggs. Biscuits like hockey pucks and sausage gravy minus the sausage. Good apples! Skip the breakfast and hit MickeyDs instead.”

“I traveled down south for the first time from NY to GA, and had selected this hotel as the halfway point for my trip. The hotel staff and my room was awesome, as they made my Beagle and myself welcomed. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will definitely be using them again on my next trip down to GA.”

“Lately my experience in newer Holiday Inn Express hotels have been great. This one was great too. Nice clean rooms that were at an appropriate temperature. There is a Dunkin and a Starbucks outside so you ceb get your fix in the morning regardless of which one you prefer. Personally when I am on the road I run on Starbucks. Also, Brady’s Distillery is around the corner if you want to grab a nightcap before bed time.”
“They lie about what the price is of the room and the don't have a cleaning service for the beds and they don't care about the about the people that stay here and they have bad electricity do to putting all money in there packet Instead of in to the motel. They said they don't allow dogs but they do and they charge u more for pets,the people in other rooms are disrespectful & loud as well as noise. I do not recommend staying at the Hollins motel AT ALL!!”

“It's changed a lot from when I stayed almost 10 yrs ago. It is a lot better. Remodeled rooms and just better. Staff is friendly and helpful. I like staying here. Good for people on a fixed income, it won't take all your money. The price stated is the price paid.
Rooms: Clean with tiled floors. Clean, bug free beds. Clean bathrooms with a tub that is easy for this 69 yrs old woman to get in and out of.
Walkability: A bus stop is at the entrance. A restaurant in in front of the motel. Everything is in walking distance or getting a bus is easy.”

“I don't usually review chains, but I noticed some particularly nasty reviews for days inn and would like to add my 2 cents. The rooms were spotless, the staff is very courteous, the breakfast is pretty good and the fridge, microwave coffee machine are all clean and up to date. Linen was fresh, room was well heated. There is ample parking, even for some big rigs, and the hotel is right off i40 and super economical for overnight stays. Trolling businesses excessively does no good to anyone. Days Inn was totally clean and fresh and perfect for an efficient overnight stay on long trips. Thanks to the staff!”

“Truly a wonderful manged establishment. Clean rooms. Great staff and very convenient to Route 81. I would return here again when traveling where I need to break a day of travel up. The breakfast was not grest but it was adequate. Many nearby restaurants augmented our stay. Truly worth the stay!”
