A concern during my first month was quickly addressed and resolved without issue. Later needing more space, Wesley and Justin were more than willing and extremely helpful in explaining and assisting me with the transition to a bigger unit. They were knowledgeable and patient in making it happen in the timeframe needed.

“I’ve been utilizing this facility for just over a year now and I have had no issues whatsoever. I store all of my books and important personal effects here and have had zero complaints arise in regard to storage, service, or payment issues. I adore the front desk gentleman, he is very kind and accommodating and always goes out of his way to provide incredible customer service. I recently downsized and had no issue transferring units and the gentleman running the front desk was kind enough to help me dispose of an unused carpet that I couldn’t lift and will never need. I highly recommend booking online for the best rate.”

“Had an issue where my autopay was removed when a computer system update happened, so while it looked like a payment went through it actually didn’t. I would have been charged a late fee but they waved the fee due to the computer error. Been using this storage locker for years and they have always been so kind and understanding with things. Would definitely recommend them! Thank you guys again.”

Lukas at the office in Kempsville location worked very hard to help get me a refund on my unit.I cleared it out and was unaware of the two weeks notice has to be given . “I truly appreciated Josie,so much. She made me feel comfortable and trust in her when there was no re ord of .y storage unit which already had my things in it and I was in WV over 7hours away. I don't know if there is enough you can do for this young lady because she saved a customer from leaving a bad review to turning it around to me being a loyal customer forever and my spreading the word of how I love Public Storage even after giving me the unit much smaller than i had paid for. To giving me another unit because my items couldn't fit in the unit they made a mistake giving me so I just added another unit right by the 1st unit. I called to make payments in advance and to my understanding that unit was not in my name oreven rented .We looked for it and then Josie tried to rerent to me and it didn't work could t use my card over phone so I had to drive down 7 hrs Just to pay and fix in person
Josie never let my unit get rented nor made me feel like my things weren't safe. Thank you Josie for a super job especially rally under pressure

“Been using this storage facility now for 2 years every time I have a issue they take care of me. Customer service is awesome. Had to go in and transfer to a bigger unit and they were very helpful. No issues with walk me up there showing me the new unit and I was all set up in less than 10 minutes. You’re in good hands at the Indian River location.”

“I have had a unit on Lynnhave Pkwy for over 18+ years. I was always treated with respect and kindness. I will say I am disappointed they haqve gone to an over phone/computer a sign up to rent a unit. No onsiite to get help, no on site security. I must say I was told that all sites are monitored by camera. And 1 site had someone who appeared to be trying to break in to a unit. The police were called, and arrived before they could access the unit. I hope it continues to be safe.
But I must say, I will miss the interaction with the on-site office help!!!!
