“There are several reasons I I like Christian Brothers and feel comfortable letting them work on my vehicles. They make good use of technology to document the the work they do and how they share it with their customers. They adequately explained all the procedures they needed to do and why. They did a great job communicating with me; providing to me updates on a daily basis. The repairs they completed on my vehicle were completed correctly the first time. When their shuttle was unexpectedly not available, they called a taxi (Uber) service to take me home at their expense. They offered a discount to military service members. I'll be returning to their shop for future services.”

“One of the rare 100% trustworthy auto shops you'll find! They rebuilt the transmission in my 2006 Dodge Ram SRT10 and it's never run better! A Mopar part later failed inside the transmission (not their fault) and these guys repaired for $0.00, where they could have really nailed me for thousands of dollars in unnecessary charges. I never would have known it could be fixed under warranty for free.I'll never recommend any other shop for transmission repair! Great guys to deal with, too!”

“Purchased an Antique VW Eurovan thousands of miles away and drove it cross country to the Tidewater Area. Had an issue on the way. An unusual issue, one of which was a noise from the gearshift area blamed on over aged tires. Purchased four new ones, but after a few hundred miles the noise seemly related to the old tires retuned. Along the way a new repeating sound was diagnosed by a reputable VW Dealer, repaired supposedly after an old bolt was replaced (for $160) and an all day wait because I was not able to make an ahead of time appointment. That repair lasted 2 days, and the sound returned. The BugHouse found the problem with was related to the transmission and steering, repaired it, and said they would stand by their repair. Problem Solved! That was months ago, the noise is gone and problem was solved! Would trust them, before a dealership which can't repair anything, can only replace parts, especially involving an antique! For Sure!”

“Shipps Corner Service Center is located at the corner of Shipps Corner Rd. and Holland Rd. They also have a 76 gas station, so you can easily find them by seeing the 76. I have been here several times with a few cars. The most recent visit here was on October 2, 2023. I have been past this place countless times, but had never come in here until recently. In June, Mark Hopkins from this business was going house to house to sell VIP Customer Care Cards for $130. After looking over what it has to offer, I decided to get it. It is good for any car and does not expire. A few months later on August 23, 2023, I came in for my first service to use the VIP card. When I came for the first time, parking is extremely limited. I ended up parking over at the end of the Food Lion parking lot. The reason for this visit was to have a full synthetic oil and filter change. This was completely covered by the VIP card. The check in process was pretty easy inside. They had my appointment already, and all I needed to give them was the VIP card. Once the work was done, I would get that card back. Within two hours, they were already done and my car was ready for pick up. The pick up process was easy too. Everything went well on this visit. The only thing they forgot to do was reset the change oil notification in the car, but I got that reset, so all good. My most recent visit here was to bring my mom's car here for service. She needed an oil change (regular) and a state inspection. Both of these services were covered under the VIP card. The process was similar to the first one, and they were done within a few hours too. At this point, the VIP card has already paid for itself and then some. Overall, the service and experience here have been excellent. One thing that was really nice is that they don't try to push you to get additional products and services when the car is looked at. They are very honest and up front about what needs to be done and what is optional. You don't see that too much these days. If you're looking for a place to have your car taken care of that isn't a dealership, this place is worth checking out. Info about how to obtain a VIP card is included in the photos I have added along with this review.”
