“I’ve had my stuff here for over a year and the rent has only increased one time and it was only a $10 increase! They also take the time to call you if your unit is left unlocked or if anything around your unit looks suspicious. Very secure place to store your belongings. Staff has always been super nice too no matter what time you come in. I’ve used two other storage companies before but I will always look for and recommend jack rabbit from here on out.”

“Penske is always a great place to rent. As a person who has been in the automotive business for lots of years, I can say these trucks have always been well maintained. When I have rented from other companies I have always gotten a truck with out of balance tires or warped rotors which makes moving even more of a pain than it already is. Not with Penske….smooth as a babies bottom at 75 on 95.”

“You wouldn't believe me if I told you how helpful these guys are. We were moving under some pretty unfortunate circumstances to begin with and didn't exactly have loads of money to throw away at the time. She understood our hardship and went out of her way to make sure we were well supplied with what we needed for the move, even lending us some of her own personal supplies. She just instantly treated us like her own family, and it wasn't the fake showmanship you see at so many businesses. I would by far recommend this U-Haul to anyone, and cannot thank Tammy enough!”

“So this place was the closest U-haul rental location near me so I called them up and I had no trouble to get a 20 foot truck which was the perfect size.The process was very easy and I needed to extend my time a little bit and I called them and it was no problem at all.If you need AU haul truck in the Virginia Beach area specifically the kempsville area I would highly recommend giving them a call.”

“Came in about 2 weekends needing a rental for my business, last minute and the owner was there to help facilitate the booking. She did not let us know she was the owner until I begin to compliment her of the amazing customer service skills, I encountered while being assisted. Something as simple as her taking the time to sanitize her hands in between transactions, and attentively assessing my needs. For example, I thought I wanted to return the truck the same night, and she advised me that it would be the same price for next day which we ended up needing. But my review is not about the rental- her kind words, engaging banter, and encouragement really helped me shake the frustration and carry on with my scheduled business affair. She encouraged me from one business owner to the next and probably didn't know how inspiring she was to me. The team out front was kind and very helpful as well. We rent these trucks almost weekly for my business, and this by far has been the best experience. I will drive further to be sure that any rental we need again comes from this location.”

“I had an excellent experience renting from this location. Recommend using Costco Travel for reservation as far in advance as you can. Kathie, the agency operator at the front desk, was super kind, cordial and provided me an excellent customer experience upon picking up the car and delivering it at the conclusion of the rental. She was proficient and provided expeditious service, despite no one waiting behind me - without rushing me through! I really appreciate this and look forward to my future rentals from here and hope to work again with Kathie.”

“I'm a contractor and when I'm in a "hardware" store I'm most likely heading to work, from work or at work. I'm least concerned by all the warm and fuzzy feelings shoppers get from their favorite retailers. Home Depot is my go to choice for materials, yes their lumber mostly sucks like every other budget retailer, my answer to that is lumber order it out when the budget supports it. My point is as a rule of thumb Home Depot has a good selection of lumber and materials at a reasonable price. Their staff are reasonably knowledgeable for the wage they receive. I recommend this Home Depot.”

“Can't complain too much. Since I was dropping off a truck for a one-way rental, my transaction was pretty straightforward. I was in and out of the store in about 15 min. Both customer agents were very professional and got the job done. One minor complaint: I wish this location had overnight drop off service. If that cannot happen, customers should have an option to leave the truck in the store's parking area and complete the transaction during business hours. Many apt complex's do not let folks park a 16+ ft moving truck in their parking lots. It was a bit of a pain finding a place to leave the truck overnight before turning it in the next day. This might be more of a Budget thing. When I called customer service to ask for some options about dropping off the truck after hours, I was told there was another location about 30 min away. However there would be additional fees associated with turning in the truck at another location. Unfortunately, the customer service agent couldn't tell me how much those fees would be. Tip: if you request moving blankets be sure to fold them before dropping off the truck.”

“This has by far been my best experience I have had with self storage. The GM literally brought me lock on move in day in the pouring down rain. I have talked to Katlyn Smith on numerous occasions and my dealings with her were nothing short of professional and. Compassionate. I was able to see through the less than stellar reviews and can see some of the individuals she deals with by the way they break into their units after not paying bills on time and getting locked out of their units. Don't be fooled. If you are looking for an actual climate controlled storage, because you don't want your stuff ruined. That's easy to access from 5am to 10pm. That is rodent and insect free. Then this is your place. It was absolutely mine.”

“I'm giving them 4stars because i rented a truck from there a week ago was supposed to get a 26foA 26 foot truck when i got there they said they have the truck but no key to the truck ended up wit 16 foot truck it took 4 trips instead of1 they did the right thing by giving me me 2 free days and 35 free miles”
